đź“‹ Description

  • • Artera Technologies is at the forefront of revolutionizing healthcare through AI-powered digital solutions, and we are seeking a talented and driven Product Designer to join our dynamic team in Boston, Massachusetts. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of patient engagement and healthcare accessibility by contributing to all facets of the design process. You will be instrumental in creating intuitive, impactful, and user-centric digital experiences that enhance the patient journey and empower healthcare providers.
  • • As a Product Designer at Artera, you will immerse yourself in a multidisciplinary role, taking ownership from initial research and user understanding through to interaction design, prototyping, and final visual execution. You will collaborate closely with agile, cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders, to deliver seamless multi-device experiences that align with our mission to make healthcare 1 in customer service.
  • • Our AI-powered virtual agents, available via voice and text, are transforming how 1,000 provider organizations, serving over 100 million patients annually, manage critical aspects of the patient journey. These agents assist with everything from self-scheduling and intake to form completion and billing, augmenting front-desk staff and offering autonomous digital workforce solutions. Your design expertise will be crucial in ensuring these powerful tools are not only effective but also exceptionally easy and pleasant to use.
  • • You will be a product-minded designer, possessing a keen ability to think holistically about user experiences across various device ecosystems. This involves deeply understanding user needs, identifying pain points, and translating those insights into elegant design solutions that also meet critical business objectives. Your judgment will be essential in evaluating input from teammates, synthesizing diverse perspectives into cohesive designs, and strategically prioritizing tasks to achieve desired outcomes.
  • • This role offers the chance to significantly influence Artera's design philosophy and practices. You will contribute to defining our design processes, establishing robust interaction models, and evolving our visual systems. The ultimate goal is to consistently deliver exceptional digital product experiences that set Artera apart in the competitive health tech landscape.
  • • Key responsibilities will include conducting user research (interviews, surveys, usability testing) to gather deep insights into patient and provider needs. You will translate these findings into user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes that clearly articulate the intended user experience.
  • • You will design intuitive and engaging user interfaces, ensuring consistency across all Artera products and platforms. This includes developing and maintaining a comprehensive design system that supports scalability and brand integrity.
  • • Collaboration is at the heart of this role. You will work hand-in-hand with product managers to define product strategy and roadmaps, and with engineers to ensure designs are implemented accurately and efficiently, maintaining a high standard of quality.
  • • You will champion user-centered design principles throughout the organization, advocating for the user in all product development decisions. This involves presenting design concepts and rationale to stakeholders, gathering feedback, and iterating on designs based on constructive criticism.
  • • You will stay abreast of the latest trends and best practices in UX/UI design, AI, and digital health to continuously innovate and improve our product offerings.
  • • The ideal candidate will possess a strong portfolio showcasing a range of user-centered design projects, demonstrating proficiency in problem-solving, interaction design, and visual aesthetics. You should be comfortable working in an agile development environment, adapting to changing priorities, and delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines.
  • • This is an opportunity to make a tangible impact on the healthcare industry, improving patient access and satisfaction while supporting the growth of a leading SaaS company recognized for its innovation and award-winning culture. Join us in shaping the future of digital health.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Proven experience as a Product Designer, UX Designer, or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end design projects.
  • • Proficiency in industry-standard design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, InVision).
  • • Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and synthesizing findings into actionable design insights.
  • • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, interaction design, information architecture, and visual design.
  • • Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and rationale effectively.

🏖️ Benefits

  • • Competitive salary and equity package.
  • • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.
  • • Generous paid time off (PTO) and holidays.
  • • Opportunities for professional development and continued learning.
  • • A vibrant, inclusive, and award-winning company culture with a focus on employee well-being.
