- • As a Product Designer at Withflex Inc., you will own end-to-end design for the merchant experience, directly impacting how health and wellness brands accept HSA and FSA payments online, unlocking new revenue streams and simplifying consumer access to earned benefits.
- • Day to day, you will conduct user research through merchant interviews and surveys, collaborate with engineering and founders to define product roadmaps, design user flows and visual UI in Figma, leverage AI tools for rapid prototyping, contribute to the design system, and support cross-functional needs across marketing, website, and operations.
- • You will join a mission-driven, early-stage team of 16 engineers and founders backed by First Round, Core VC, and Rethink Capital, powering checkout for brands like Equinox, Dermstore, Therabody, and Ultrahuman in a high-trust, transparent culture focused on solving real healthcare spending friction.
- • In this role, you will grow from owning the merchant experience to becoming a generalist design contributor across the broader Flex product surface, sharpening your end-to-end product design skills, mastering AI-augmented workflows, and shaping the future of HSA/FSA payments at scale.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years of experience as a product designer, ideally at a high-growth startup or fast-moving product team
- • Strong user-first mindset: starts with understanding user and problem before visual polish
- • Expert proficiency in Figma as the primary design tool
- • Strong cross-functional collaboration with engineers and business stakeholders
- • Comfortable being user-facing: able to engage directly with merchants and sales calls
- • Actively uses AI tools (e.g., Claude, Cursor, Cowork, v0) in design workflow for prototyping and iteration
- • Low ego, resourceful, curious, and excited to wear multiple hats in an early-stage environment
- • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- • Takes ownership and follows through on commitments
