- • Product Designer role focused on influencing product, business metrics, and how millions engage with sports globally through web funnels, mobile apps, and growth experiments.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include owning design from web-funnels and mobile app to growth/retention/monetization experiments, running end-to-end product experiments (hypothesis → design → A/B test → insights → iteration), integrating AI-first workflows in research, variant generation, copywriting, illustration, prototyping, and analytics, evolving design systems with components, tokens, and variants, and collaborating as an equal partner with product, growth, and engineering teams.
- • Universe Group Ltd is a tech business that has been building products for over 8 years, aiming to scale design function through Product Design Lead progression where impact on metrics leads to team ownership and function building.
- • The role offers opportunity to learn and achieve impact on key business metrics (CR, CAC, LTV, ROI, retention), build and lead a design team, drive AI-first practices internally, and grow professionally in a culture of rapid development with internal training and expert collaboration.
🎯 Requirements
- • 2+ years of experience in product design (web and/or mobile)
- • Business and product mindset: understanding design as a lever for business metrics, not just visuals
- • Proficiency in Figma: components, design systems, tokens, variants
- • AI-first mindset: AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Midjourney, Figma AI, v0, etc.) integrated into daily workflow for research, generation, copy, illustration, prototyping, and analytics
- • Strong visual taste, attention to detail, and ability to balance ideal vs. fast execution
- • Portfolio demonstrating strong visuals and product cases with measurable impact on metrics
