- • As a Product Designer III (Live Events) at Compassion International, you will lead, mentor, and contribute to the User Experience discipline across all IT development teams, applying analytical and creative thinking to design engagements independently or as part of major, complex, or international initiatives.
- • Day to day, you will collaborate with developers, product managers, and team members to maximize user experience, train developers in creating wireframes and prototypes, establish design guidelines and best practices, ensure consistent design language across products, conduct user research, develop user personas, and may coach other professionals in UX.
- • You will work within a faith-driven organization committed to releasing children from poverty in Jesus’ name, where your role integrates spiritual values with professional design excellence, including maintaining a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and advocating for child protection in all work.
- • The team operates across remote locations in the USA, supporting global IT development efforts with a focus on live events, where you will own end-to-end experience design for concert lifecycles, translate ambiguous concepts into journey maps, lead ideation for immersive fan experiences, and design across mobile, web, physical/digital integrations, and live environments.
- • In this role, you will grow as a design leader by influencing cross-functional teams, shaping product direction through UX strategy, and contributing to meaningful digital experiences that serve Compassion’s mission of child sponsorship and advocacy.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience in end-to-end UX/UI design for complex digital products, including wireframing, prototyping, user research, and design system development.
- • Ability to lead 0→1 ideation for innovative fan experiences, such as interactive wearables, QR-enabled touchpoints, and immersive engagement moments.
- • Proficiency in designing across multi-surface ecosystems including mobile, web, physical/digital integrations (e.g., bracelets), projection, and live environments.
- • Strong collaboration skills with developers, product managers, and business leaders to translate user needs into actionable design solutions.
- • Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor junior designers or support staff in UX best practices and design thinking.
- • Personal commitment to the Christian faith and alignment with Compassion International’s mission, including upholding child protection standards and participating in spiritual growth opportunities.
