  • • As a Product Designer at voize, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of our AI companion. This role sits at the critical intersection of artificial intelligence, healthcare, and human-centered design. Your primary responsibility will be to translate the complexities of high-stakes care workflows into intuitive, user-friendly mobile experiences. The goal is to significantly reduce the cognitive load on nurses and demonstrably save them time in their demanding daily routines.

From the initial stages of user research and discovery through to the final rollout and ongoing iteration, you will remain hands-on.   • • Your daily work will immerse you in the realities of frontline care. This necessitates a deep engagement with users, a thorough understanding of their actual workflows, and the ability to transform complex, often messy, real-world situations into clear, elegant, and usable product experiences.
  • • You will take ownership of a core product area, actively shaping and evolving its design direction over an extended period. This involves designing the complete user flow, not just isolated screens. You will be responsible for mapping out end-to-end user journeys, prototyping intricate interactions, and crafting production-ready UI elements that are robust enough to perform reliably in high-pressure healthcare environments.
  • • A key aspect of this role is to "go where the work happens." This means actively participating in on-site visits to care facilities and user sessions, observing real-world workflows firsthand, and identifying the practical constraints that often go unnoticed in standard specification documents.
  • • You will develop a deep user obsession, focusing on driving product adoption. This involves designing for a diverse range of user groups, each with varying levels of technological proficiency, and understanding precisely how your design contributions directly influence user engagement and retention.
  • • Your ability to translate insights into actionable product direction will be crucial. You will synthesize findings from user research into clear problem statements, well-defined hypotheses, and user experience principles that can unite the product team around a common vision.
  • • Balancing speed with uncompromising quality is essential. You will leverage AI-assisted workflows and modern design tools to accelerate the exploration and prototyping phases, ensuring efficiency without sacrificing the meticulous craft and usability that define our products.
  • • You will act as a trusted partner to Product Managers and Engineers. This involves making design trade-offs explicit, proactively unblocking decisions, and maintaining close collaboration throughout the implementation process to ensure that the final shipped product accurately reflects the intended design.
  • • To foster a cohesive user experience across the entire product, you will collaborate with a Senior Product Designer to identify and implement cross-product problems, establish consistent design patterns, and develop reusable solutions.
  • • The impact you will create is significant: driving higher user adoption and retention through more intuitive and efficient workflows; reducing the time spent on routine documentation by clarifying information flow and lowering cognitive load; achieving high user satisfaction by delivering a product that is reliable, coherent, and tailored for real-world use; and enabling faster, higher-quality product delivery through seamless alignment between design, product, and engineering teams.
