• • As a Staff/Principal Product Designer, you will be instrumental in shaping the user experience and visual design of our groundbreaking platform. • • You will be a key player in our design-first culture, enjoying a high degree of autonomy and ownership. This position requires you to lead the design process for multiple new product initiatives from conception through to launch. You will tackle intellectually stimulating projects that have a profound impact on patient outcomes. For instance, you might design solutions to streamline the process for clinical users to send appointment invitations to patients – a critical workflow that occurs hundreds of times daily and ensures timely care for individuals.
• • A significant aspect of this role involves fostering a close connection with our user base. You will actively engage with the Anima Champions community, our most dedicated and vocal customers. This includes participating in customer calls and visiting GP practices to gain an in-depth understanding of their challenges, aspirations, and unmet needs. This direct user interaction will be crucial in informing your design decisions and ensuring our products truly resonate with those who rely on them.
• • You will have the privilege of collaborating with exceptional product builders who hold design in high regard. Examples include lead engineers like Skupie, who pioneered self-driving semi-trucks in Canada, and Souradip, an award-winning doctor with a PhD in technical achievements. Their expertise and collaborative spirit will enrich the product development process.
• • This role extends beyond traditional design responsibilities. As we do not have dedicated Product Managers, you will be expected to contribute significantly to product strategy and roadmap development. You will influence the direction of our product, ensuring we prioritize initiatives that maximize total network value. This requires both strategic thinking and hands-on execution, making it a dynamic and challenging position.
• • Furthermore, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and scaling our design infrastructure for the future. This involves formalizing design standards, refining our design systems, and selecting appropriate tools to ensure we consistently deliver features that drive high user retention and engagement. Your contributions will lay the foundation for Anima's long-term design excellence and scalability.
