📋 Description

• • Own the entire design lifecycle for a global hiring platform that has already powered 70 million video interviews and 200 million AI-driven candidate conversations for 1,200+ customers worldwide. You will be the sole Product Designer embedded in the 4DX squad, translating complex talent-acquisition workflows into intuitive, mobile-first experiences.
• • Lead generative and evaluative research: plan, recruit, and moderate user interviews, diary studies, and moderated/unmoderated usability tests with recruiters, hiring managers, and job-seekers across North America, LATAM, and EMEA. Synthesize findings into personas, journey maps, and opportunity frameworks that directly steer quarterly OKRs.
• • Translate insights into end-to-end design artifacts—from low-fidelity sketches and interactive Figma prototypes to pixel-perfect, responsive UI components—ensuring every screen meets WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility standards and scales gracefully across web, iOS, and Android.
• • Evolve and govern the platform’s design system: audit existing components, propose new tokens/patterns, and document usage guidelines so Engineering can ship faster while maintaining brand consistency. Your system work will be used by 30+ engineers across four squads.
• • Partner daily with Product Managers to define problem statements and success metrics; run design sprints, story-mapping, and hypothesis-driven experiments that reduce time-to-hire and improve candidate NPS. Your roadmap influence will span conversational AI, video interviewing, and skills-assessment modules.
• • Collaborate tightly with Customer Success to turn escalations into insight loops—join QBRs, review support tickets, and ship in-app tooltips or empty-state improvements that cut onboarding time by double-digit percentages.
• • Champion ethical AI in UX: design transparent, bias-mitigating flows for AI scoring, feedback loops, and explainability panels that keep both candidates and employers confident in the platform’s fairness.
• • Operate with high autonomy in a fully remote, async-first culture. Run weekly design critiques, present to the exec team, and ship iterative improvements every two weeks while mentoring junior contractors and contributing to Ubiminds’ guild knowledge base.
