• • As a Product Engineer in our London office, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our platform. You will be instrumental in developing end-to-end solutions, from conceptualization and design through to implementation and ensuring the reliability and scalability of our business-critical infrastructure.
• • Our platform is already trusted by over 100 high-growth companies, including Cognition, incident.io, and MoonPay, processing over $1 billion in annual invoice volume. We recently secured a $20 million Series A funding round led by 645 Ventures, with participation from prominent investors like a16z, underscoring our significant market traction and ambitious growth trajectory.
• • This is a unique opportunity to work within a small, agile team where you will have significant ownership and direct access to customers. You will contribute to impactful projects that directly influence our product's success and grow alongside a company experiencing 10x ARR growth.
• • You will be involved in developing sophisticated AI-powered approval workflows. This includes building flexible routing systems that allow customers to configure complex approval chains using natural language, such as "require VP approval for deals over $100k with annual terms," translating these requirements into deterministic and auditable business logic.
• • Another key area of focus will be the creation of an intelligent collections agent. This agent will automate the tedious and manual process of chasing late payments. You will develop the capability for users to instruct the agent using natural language, for example, "send a reminder at 7 days overdue; escalate at 14 days," enabling the agent to autonomously manage the entire collection workflow.
• • You will also contribute to scaling our billing infrastructure by 10x. This involves re-architecting our billing pipeline to handle significantly increased throughput, exploring advanced storage strategies, ensuring horizontal scalability, and optimizing for performance and cost-efficiency at scale.
• • As part of a lean and growing engineering team of 20+ professionals, you will have substantial influence over product direction and technical implementation. You will be involved in shaping fundamental architectural decisions, balancing the need for rapid development with the imperative of building robust, reliable systems that customers depend on.
• • Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing systems capable of processing high-velocity event streams, making critical technical decisions that optimize for both cost and performance at scale, and constructing infrastructure that prioritizes unwavering reliability.
• • The nature of our business-critical infrastructure means that every event processed is crucial; a missed event could lead to incorrect billing, and an outage during month-end could prevent finance teams from collecting revenue. Therefore, a deep commitment to quality and reliability is paramount.
• • Recent impactful projects shipped by our team include Watchtower, a command center for AI agents, which provides customers with essential visibility and control. This project also involved building our first AI agent for contract intake, automating the extraction of customer and pricing data from contracts to expedite the transition to automated billing.
• • We also recently integrated a fully seamless e-signature experience for quotes, removing friction points for customers during the deal closing process. This involved rebuilding the signing experience with embedded authentication and branded emails, ensuring a smooth user journey.
• • Furthermore, we have implemented robust role-based access controls (RBAC) across the product. This involved designing a flexible RBAC model capable of managing resources across all API endpoints and UI surfaces, accommodating the diverse organizational structures of our clients.
