- • As a Product Infrastructure Security Engineer at Palantir Technologies Inc., you will play a critical role in safeguarding the company’s most vital software platforms—including AIP, Foundry, Gotham, and Mission Manager—by embedding security into the core of product design and infrastructure. Your work directly enables Palantir’s mission to empower organizations tackling global challenges such as disease eradication, disaster response, and national security, ensuring that mission-critical data remains protected against sophisticated adversaries.
- • You will conduct comprehensive security reviews across Palantir’s evolving product and service portfolio, collaborating with offensive security teams, product engineers, and InfoSec partners to identify, assess, and remediate vulnerabilities before they can be exploited. This includes leading architecture and design consultations where you serve as the security subject matter expert, guiding teams to implement secure-by-default principles through threat modeling, risk assessment, and control implementation.
- • You will own and drive strategic security initiatives with broad impact, working closely with forward-deployed and core engineering teams to harden infrastructure, improve security posture, and establish scalable best practices that elevate the resilience of Palantir’s platforms across defense, intelligence, and commercial use cases.
- • Through proactive vulnerability identification—leveraging infrastructure scanning, posture analysis, and incident response collaboration—you will detect novel attack vectors and lead efforts to resolve them, contributing directly to Palantir’s ability to maintain trust with customers handling sensitive national and commercial data.
- • You will operate with significant autonomy and access to resources, enabling you to influence security outcomes at scale while working within a mission-driven culture that values technical excellence, curiosity, and tenacity in the face of evolving threats.
- • By joining Palantir’s Product Security team, you will deepen your expertise in enterprise-scale product security, gain exposure to cutting-edge systems used in high-stakes environments, and develop leadership skills in influencing cross-functional teams to prioritize security without compromising innovation or velocity.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- • Proven experience conducting security reviews, threat modeling, and vulnerability analysis in complex software or infrastructure environments
- • Strong understanding of secure design principles, common attack vectors (e.g., OWASP, CWE), and mitigation strategies for cloud-native and distributed systems
- • Proficiency in programming or scripting languages (e.g., Python, Go, Bash) for automation, tooling, and security analysis
- • Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to convey technical security concepts to both engineering and non-technical stakeholders
