đź“‹ Description

  • • As Product Lead - Claims Experience at Alan SAS, you will own the end-to-end claims journey across France, Belgium, Spain, and Canada, transforming moments of member anxiety into trust and relief by designing a seamless, scalable, and delightful reimbursement experience that aligns with Alan’s mission to make prevention the new norm of care.
  • • You will define the vision and strategy for the next generation of claims excellence, balancing user-centric design, operational efficiency, technical robustness, and cross-border scalability to set a new industry standard in health insurance claims processing.
  • • Day to day, you will collaborate closely with designers, engineers, data specialists, and operations teams to translate complex insurance rules into simple, intuitive member flows, ensuring every touchpoint — from submission to payout — is optimized for speed, clarity, and empathy.
  • • You will partner with General Managers, Sales, Customer Care, and Insurance teams to align product decisions with business goals, regulatory requirements, and regional nuances, driving consensus across geographies without direct authority through influence, storytelling, and data-driven advocacy.
  • • You will lead discovery and execution phases, conducting user research, mapping pain points, prototyping solutions, and overseeing end-to-end delivery, including complex system migrations and feature rollouts, while maintaining rigorous standards for quality and compliance.
  • • You will establish metrics and feedback loops to continuously measure claims performance — including processing time, satisfaction scores, error rates, and support volume — using insights to iterate and improve the experience in real time.
  • • You will contribute to Alan’s culture of radical transparency and distributed ownership by documenting decisions openly, sharing learnings asynchronously, and fostering a mindset of continuous improvement across your squad and beyond.
  • • You will grow into a strategic leader who not only shapes product outcomes but also mentors peers, champions ethical innovation in healthcare, and helps Alan scale its model to new markets while staying true to its core values of care, simplicity, and impact.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 6+ years of product management experience, with a proven track record of launching and scaling products across multiple countries or markets, preferably in regulated or complex domains such as insurance, fintech, or healthcare.
  • • Deep curiosity and ability to master intricate insurance rules, reimbursement logic, and regulatory frameworks, translating them into radically simple, user-friendly experiences without sacrificing accuracy or compliance.
  • • Strong technical fluency to collaborate effectively with engineering and data teams, understand system constraints and trade-offs, and guide prioritization of features, migrations, and infrastructure investments.
  • • Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional and geographically distributed teams without authority, driving alignment through clarity, empathy, and data-informed storytelling.
  • • Fluency in both French and English is required to communicate effectively with local teams, members, and stakeholders across Alan’s operating countries.
  • • Bias toward action in ambiguous environments, combined with a growth mindset, enthusiasm for teamwork, and comfort navigating complexity while maintaining focus on outcomes.

🏖️ Benefits

  • • Generous equity packages as part of fair rewards, available for permanent contracts, aligning employee success with Alan’s long-term mission and growth.
  • • Flexible working model: choice between HQ office in Paris, sponsored co-working spaces, or full-remote with home office equipment support (MacBook Pro, monitor, keyboard, stand, Bose headphones).
  • • Comprehensive health insurance coverage: 100% for you and your children, 90–100% for partners depending on country, reflecting Alan’s commitment to employee well-being.
  • • Flexible vacation and working hours, enabling you to organize your time in a way that supports productivity, balance, and personal life.
  • • Access to learning and development opportunities, including free books, conference budgets, and a personalized coaching culture where every Alaner is paired with a dedicated coach from day one.
  • • Country-specific commuter benefits and extended parental leave for permanent contracts, supporting life transitions and equitable workplace policies.
