đź“‹ Description
- • As the sole Product Manager for Jerry.ai’s core insurance marketplace, you will own the end-to-end quoting experience that powers the #1 rated and most downloaded car ownership super app in the U.S., directly impacting how 5+ million users shop for, compare, and purchase auto insurance in seconds.
- • You will drive high-impact carrier integrations by leading technical partnerships with external insurance providers, translating complex API requirements and underwriting logic into seamless, accurate, and low-latency quote experiences that protect both user trust and company loss ratios.
- • Day to day, you will own the quoting funnel: diagnosing drop-off points using analytics, optimizing eligibility rules and coverage matching algorithms, and collaborating with engineering to reduce median quote latency to 5–15 seconds while maximizing quote success rates and conversion.
- • You will ensure data integrity by maintaining the accuracy of underwriting inputs across carrier feeds, validating quote outputs against real-world pricing, and implementing monitoring systems to prevent discrepancies that could erode customer trust or increase financial risk.
- • You will partner closely with engineering, data science, and insurance specialists to translate technical constraints into product roadmaps, using AI-driven insights to personalize quote offerings and automate routine decisions, positioning Jerry.ai at the forefront of AI-powered insurance marketplaces.
- • You will work within a mission-driven, fast-moving team at Jerry Technologies Inc., a Boston-based innovator backed by $240M+ in funding, where egoless collaboration, curiosity, and a passion for solving real-world consumer problems define the culture and drive product excellence.
- • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in insurance technology ecosystems, API-driven product design, and behavioral economics of financial decision-making — gaining rare visibility into how backend systems directly influence frontend user outcomes in a high-stakes, regulated marketplace.
- • You will achieve measurable impact by improving quote accuracy, reducing latency, increasing conversion, and scaling carrier coverage — all while building a portfolio of technical product leadership that prepares you for senior roles in fintech, insurtech, or AI-driven consumer platforms.
🎯 Requirements
- • 2+ years of experience in technical product management, management consulting, or data analytics, with proven ability to own complex, end-to-end product lifecycles.
- • Extreme attention to detail and comfort navigating API documentation, rating logic, and underwriting inputs to ensure quote accuracy and system integrity.
- • Strong analytical mindset: ability to dive into KPIs (Quote Success Rate, Conversion, Loss Ratio) independently, use data to diagnose problems, and measure the impact of product changes.
- • Excellent communication and collaboration skills: ability to bridge engineering, insurance specialists, and external carrier partners by translating technical constraints into clear, actionable product roadmaps.
- • Passion for AI and automation: early adopter mindset with interest in leveraging machine learning to personalize user experiences and optimize marketplace performance at scale.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage for regular employees.
- • Paid time off, paid parental leave, and 401(K) plan with employer matching.
- • Wellness benefits and access to AI-powered tools to enhance productivity and work-life balance.
- • Equity grant opportunities as part of total rewards package.
- • Opportunity to work with a mission-driven, egoless team at a rapidly growing insurtech leader backed by $240M+ in funding.
