  • • As Manager, Lifecycle Employee Relations & Transitions at Remote Technologies Inc., you will serve as a critical extension of clients’ HR teams, navigating and advising on intricate global employment paths with speed, expertise, and precision to elevate HR practices and enrich customer experiences across 80+ countries.
  • • Day to day, you will act as a primary point of contact for clients delivering legal, HR, and advisory support; partner with Operations teams for seamless collaboration; lead and manage a team of Employee Lifecycle Specialists through coaching and mentorship; oversee voluntary and non-voluntary terminations across multiple countries, including complex cases; guide the team in delivering first-level employee relations support; personally manage and advise on complex employee lifecycle and relations cases; and champion a client-centric approach to raise quality, consistency, and professionalism.
  • • You will join the Lifecycle Operations team at Remote, a fully remote company with team members across 6 continents, dedicated to solving global employment compliance challenges through innovation, AI, and automation, guided by core values of Care, Innovation, Intensity, Transparency, and Excellence.
  • • In this role, you will develop leadership expertise in global HR practices, deepen your understanding of international employment laws, refine your ability to manage culturally diverse teams, and drive impact by shaping the future of work through compliant, intuitive, and impactful global employment solutions.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Experience in Human Resources, Operations, and/or Employee Relations roles with experience as a People Manager
  • • Advanced expertise in HR aspects including business partnering, employee relations, performance management, and thorough understanding of local employment laws
  • • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of global HR practices, employment laws, and regulations across multiple countries, with significant exposure to complex involuntary employee exits and employee relations matters
  • • Proven success in leadership awareness, team engagement, and goal delivery through effective communication, influencing, and relationship-building across culturally diverse and distributed teams
  • • Excellent interpersonal skills that transcend cultural and language barriers, with strong emotional intelligence, ability to build trust and rapport, and influence senior leaders, management, clients, and employees at all levels
  • • Excellent verbal, analytical, and written communication skills, with ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely
  • • Consistently exhibits high levels of discretion, integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality by adhering to Remote’s core values
  • • Agile, resilient, and customer-centred approach to working in a dynamic, ever-changing environment with high tolerance for ambiguity and motivation

  • • Exposure to working in a start-up environment is highly desirable; enjoys and understands the need to work largely asynchronously
  • • Proven experience in anticipating, identifying, understanding, and analyzing complex business and culture issues, managing them to resolution, and translating them into critical business strategies and initiatives
