- • As a Product Manager on Stripe’s Payments team, you will own a critical piece of the payments infrastructure that enables millions of businesses worldwide to accept payments, grow revenue, and unlock new opportunities—directly contributing to Stripe’s mission to increase the GDP of the internet.
- • You will develop long-term vision and strategy for your product pillar, build deep user empathy with merchants and financial partners, collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, legal, and other teams to shape delightful product experiences, ensure platform reliability and performance, and use metrics and analytics to measure impact on revenue, conversion, and margins.
- • You will join Stripe’s Payments organization, which focuses on building APIs for payment processing, enabling regional and non-card payment options, extending capabilities for in-person payments, and optimizing checkout experiences to drive merchant conversion and customer satisfaction.
- • In this role, you will define product strategy that balances user needs with infrastructure complexity, ship products impacting Stripe’s revenue and millions of businesses, align diverse stakeholders, navigate competing priorities, and grow your expertise in global payment systems, fintech innovation, and platform-level product leadership at scale.
🎯 Requirements
- • 7-12+ years of industry product management experience (excluding internships and co-ops)
- • Experience in payments, fintech, financial infrastructure, or closely adjacent domains (e.g., commerce platforms, banking, payment networks) with a track record of building highly impactful products
- • Demonstrated experience partnering closely with engineers, designers, and external partners to build products and complex systems at scale
- • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to precisely articulate user problems
- • Strong analytical capabilities, including defining and tracking success metrics, running experiments (e.g., holdback tests), and using data to measure product impact on revenue, conversion, and margins
- • Experience aligning multiple stakeholders, developing joint roadmaps, and navigating competing priorities between internal goals and external partner objectives
- • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with significant autonomy and responsibility
- • Background delivering on multi-quarter roadmaps and influencing diverse stakeholders to achieve shared goals
- • Strong business acumen and comfort with complex ecosystem and platform-level problems
