- • The Professional (Senior) Sales Representative, Respiratory role at Viatris Inc. is critical to driving sales and market penetration for respiratory therapeutics within the Bridgeport, CT territory, directly contributing to the company’s mission of expanding access to high-quality medicines for patients worldwide.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and executing territory-specific business plans aligned with Viatris sales objectives, conducting quality sales presentations to healthcare providers, achieving quarterly sales targets while maintaining ethical and regulatory compliance, and building strong relationships with prescribers, pharmacists, peers, and company managers.
- • The role involves leveraging sample programs, promotional materials, and data from field interactions to inform targeting strategies, ensuring physician awareness of Viatris products and differentiating them from competitors through knowledgeable, confidential engagement.
- • Viatris is a global healthcare leader dedicated to bridging generics and brands to deliver holistic patient care, serving approximately 1 billion patients annually and recognized on multiple award lists for its impact in healthcare access and innovation.
- • In this role, the representative will develop advanced skills in pharmaceutical sales strategy, territory management, consultative selling, and regulatory compliance, while gaining deep expertise in respiratory disease states and product positioning, positioning them for continued growth within Viatris’s commercial organization.
🎯 Requirements
- • BS or BA degree required
- • Minimum of 1 year of pharmaceutical sales experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook
- • Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record
- • Ability to travel and reside within or near the Bridgeport, CT territory (Greenwich, Waterbury, Danbury, Orange, New Haven)
- • Demonstrated success in influence, negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
