📋 Description

• As a Professional Services Consultant at Illumio, you will play a critical role in helping customers deploy, adopt, and realize value from Illumio’s Zero Trust Segmentation platform, directly contributing to their cyber resilience and operational security.
• Day to day, you will design and implement Illumio’s product for basic customer installations, assess and resolve deployment and configuration issues, diagnose root causes of ambiguous problems, evaluate risks and trade-offs in solution selection, and proactively manage your workload while collaborating with senior team members on complex architectural decisions.
• You will join Illumio’s Professional Services team, a group dedicated to delivering secure, scalable, and thoughtfully designed solutions that reduce risk and enable business resilience for customers across hybrid multi-cloud environments, powered by the Illumio AI Security Graph.
• In this role, you will deepen your expertise in Zero Trust architectures, network security, and customer-facing technical engagements, while developing leadership and problem-solving skills through independent ownership of deployments and contributions to continuous improvement initiatives within the team.

🎯 Requirements

• Complete knowledge and practical application of principles, practices, and methodologies within Professional Services or a related technical discipline
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to evaluate incomplete information and adapt existing approaches to new scenarios
• Proven ability to work independently as a self-starter while knowing when to seek guidance for new or higher-risk assignments
• Experience supporting customer-facing deployments, implementations, or technical engagements
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
• Solid foundation in networking and network security concepts
• Working knowledge of Linux systems and environments
