Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Join NiCE as a Professional Services Engineer and become the technical catalyst who turns ambitious customer visions into rock-solid, production-ready realities. You will own the end-to-end delivery of our cutting-edge observability, automation, and cloud-management solutions for Fortune 1000 enterprises and fast-growing scale-ups across the globe.
- • Own the full project lifecycle—from discovery workshops and architecture design to hands-on implementation, data migration, performance tuning, and go-live cut-over—ensuring every deployment exceeds customer KPIs and NiCE’s own “zero-surprises” standard.
- • Translate complex business requirements into elegant technical blueprints: map service dependencies, model event flows, design high-availability topologies, and craft run-books that empower customer teams long after you leave the site.
- • Become the customer’s trusted advisor and NiCE’s technical champion in one. You will run white-board sessions with VPs of Ops, pair-program with SRE squads, and present ROI dashboards to C-suite stakeholders, always translating technical depth into business impact.
- • Configure and extend our flagship products (NiCE ITOM, NiCE Automation, and NiCE Cloud Intelligence) via REST APIs, Python/Go hooks, Ansible playbooks, and low-code workflow builders. You will write infrastructure-as-code modules, craft custom monitoring packs, and integrate with ServiceNow, AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, and CI/CD toolchains.
- • Lead data-driven optimization sprints: analyze millions of telemetry points, identify bottlenecks, and implement tuning that slashes MTTR by 40 % or reduces cloud spend by six figures—then package those wins into reusable accelerators for the global PS team.
- • Deliver immersive enablement programs—design labs, record micro-learning videos, and run war-room simulations—so customer engineers can confidently own day-2 operations and expand the platform without billable hand-holding.
- • Champion the “NiCE Way” of remote delivery excellence: run agile ceremonies in Slack, maintain crisp Confluence pages, automate status reports, and ensure every hand-off artifact is audit-ready and customer-sharable.
- • Act as the voice of the field inside Product and Engineering. You will file enhancement requests, reproduce edge-case bugs, and beta-test new features on real customer data, directly influencing the roadmap that 3,000+ organizations depend on.
- • Travel up to 25 % (post-pandemic) for high-stakes kick-offs or executive briefings; the rest of the time you are free to work from your home office, a beach cabana, or any timezone that overlaps four hours with Central Europe.
- • Mentor junior consultants and partner-systems integrators, turning tribal knowledge into repeatable playbooks that scale NiCE’s impact far beyond any single engagement.
- • Celebrate wins loudly: every successful go-live earns you a shout-out in our global Slack, a custom emoji, and points toward the annual “PS Legend” award that comes with an extra week of paid vacation and a €5 k adventure grant.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years hands-on experience designing, deploying, and optimizing enterprise monitoring, observability, or IT automation platforms such as ServiceNow, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Ansible, Puppet, or similar.
- • Deep proficiency in at least one major cloud (AWS, Azure, or GCP) including IAM, networking, serverless, and cost-optimization patterns; Kubernetes and Terraform experience strongly preferred.
- • Proven ability to write clean, maintainable code in Python, Go, or Bash and to consume/author RESTful APIs; Git-based collaboration is second nature.
- • Demonstrated track record of leading complex customer engagements from scoping through go-live, ideally in a billable consulting or professional-services environment.
- • Nice-to-have: relevant certifications (AWS SA Pro, CKA, ITIL4, ServiceNow CIS) and experience with ITIL, DevOps, SRE, or agile-at-scale frameworks.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Fully remote-first culture with a €2,000 home-office setup stipend and annual €500 “recharge” allowance for co-working or ergonomic upgrades.
- • 30 days paid vacation plus local public holidays and a quarterly “No-Meeting Friday” to guarantee long weekends for exploration or family time.
- • Comprehensive private health, dental, and vision coverage for you and your dependents, plus a €1,000 annual wellness bonus that can be spent on gym memberships, therapy apps, or ski passes.
- • Stock-option plan with a four-year vest and a 10 % discount on the strike price for early joiners, aligning your upside with NiCE’s global growth trajectory.
- • €2,500 annual professional-development budget for conferences, certifications, or advanced degrees, plus paid time off to study and sit exams.
