- • Coordinate end-to-end execution of capstone projects for students across multiple academic majors at an online, non-traditional university.
- • Recruit and onboard industry partners to provide real-world capstone project opportunities aligned with student competencies and program learning outcomes.
- • Manage relationships with external partners, including regular communication, project scoping alignment, and ongoing support throughout the capstone cycle.
- • Serve as the primary point of contact for students, faculty, and industry partners regarding capstone project logistics, timelines, and deliverables.
- • Track and document student progress through capstone milestones using internal systems, ensuring timely completion and quality assurance.
- • Collaborate with the AVP Customer Success to refine capstone program structure, identify improvement opportunities, and enhance student and partner satisfaction.
- • Develop and maintain project documentation, including project briefs, rubrics, timelines, and communication templates for consistent program delivery.
- • Support the onboarding and training of new industry partners by providing clear guidelines, expectations, and resources for successful collaboration.
- • Monitor capstone project timelines and proactively identify and resolve potential delays or bottlenecks to ensure on-time completion.
- • Facilitate asynchronous communication between students, faculty, and industry partners across multiple time zones in a fully remote environment.
- • Collect and analyze feedback from students and partners to inform program enhancements and improve the overall capstone experience.
- • Maintain accurate records of all capstone projects, partner agreements, and student outcomes in the organization’s CRM and project management tools.
- • Adapt program materials and processes to meet the evolving needs of diverse academic disciplines and industry sectors.
- • Ensure all capstone projects adhere to institutional standards for academic integrity, safety, and ethical practice.
- • Participate in regular team meetings, reporting on project status, partner engagement metrics, and student success indicators.
- • Support the creation of marketing and recruitment materials to attract new industry partners and promote capstone opportunities to students.
- • Balance multiple capstone projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and responsiveness to all stakeholders.
- • Operate independently with minimal supervision in a fully remote, asynchronous work environment.
- • Demonstrate strong organizational skills to manage deadlines, priorities, and competing demands across a distributed team and partner network.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience in project coordination or program management, preferably in education, workforce development, or nonprofit sectors
- • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to engage industry partners and students in a remote setting
- • Experience with CRM or project management software (e.g., Salesforce, Asana, Trello)
- • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for asynchronous, cross-cultural, and remote collaboration
- • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- • Self-motivated with a track record of thriving in remote, independent work settings
