  • • As a Program Manager for Government Relations at Curriculum Associates, you will be instrumental in orchestrating the successful delivery of large-scale, state-level educational programs. This pivotal role demands a highly organized and execution-focused individual who can expertly guide cross-functional teams through the intricate phases of program implementation, ensuring that all objectives related to scope, schedule, and deliverables are met with exceptional quality and efficiency.
  • • You will act as a central hub of communication and operational leadership, serving as a trusted thought partner to internal stakeholders and a primary liaison between Curriculum Associates and external partners, including state departments of education. Your ability to bring clarity, structure, and sustained momentum to every stage of the program lifecycle will be critical to the success of these vital initiatives.
  • • This position is perfectly suited for a proactive professional who thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments, possesses a keen aptitude for solving complex challenges, and derives satisfaction from delivering high-quality work that has a tangible and positive impact on educators and students across the nation.
  • • A core responsibility will be to lead and motivate diverse, cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative environment that drives towards the successful execution of state-level programs. This involves setting clear expectations, facilitating effective communication, and ensuring alignment across all participating departments.
  • • You will be responsible for the meticulous development and ongoing management of detailed program schedules, establishing clear timelines, milestones, and dependencies. This includes creating and maintaining essential Program Management Office (PMO) documentation, ensuring a comprehensive record of the program's progress and status.
  • • A significant aspect of the role involves diligently tracking, documenting, and reporting on all program deliverables, action items, identified risks, and key decisions. This requires a systematic approach to information gathering and dissemination, ensuring all stakeholders are kept informed.
  • • Proactive risk identification and mitigation will be paramount. You will need to anticipate potential challenges, develop contingency plans, and effectively navigate competing priorities to keep programs on track and minimize disruptions.
  • • Facilitating regular status meetings, both internally with project teams and externally with partners, will be a key duty. This includes preparing and delivering clear, concise, and informative reports that accurately reflect program progress, challenges, and upcoming activities.
  • • You will serve as the internal advocate for the partner's needs and perspective, ensuring their requirements and feedback are understood and addressed by internal teams. Conversely, you will also be the external representative of Curriculum Associates, articulating the company's capabilities, commitments, and value proposition to state-level decision-makers.
  • • Cultivating and nurturing strong, professional relationships with key clients, state education officials, and other critical decision-makers will be essential for long-term program success and future opportunities.
  • • Close collaboration with a wide array of internal departments is expected. This includes working hand-in-hand with sales teams to understand client needs, partner support to ensure seamless service delivery, professional learning to align training initiatives, reporting and rostering teams for data management, psychometrics and research for product validation, and product development teams to relay user feedback and requirements.
  • • You will also play a crucial role in contributing to the development of responses for Requests for Information (RFIs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs), leveraging your program knowledge to help secure new business and partnerships.
  • • This role requires a strategic mindset, the ability to manage complex projects from inception to completion, and a commitment to driving educational excellence through effective program management.
