ďż˝ Description
- • Own the end-to-end delivery of Molecule’s flagship ETRM/CTRM implementations, guiding Fortune-500 energy traders, hedge funds, and commodity houses from contract signature to live trading in as little as 90 days.
- • Translate complex trading-book requirements—spanning crude, power, renewables, LNG, metals, and agricultural products—into a phased, risk-managed project plan that balances speed, scope, and customer delight.
- • Build and maintain a living project schedule in our PMO tooling (currently Jira + Smartsheet); map every configuration sprint, data-migration checkpoint, user-acceptance test, and go-live cut-over so that nothing slips through the cracks.
- • Run weekly steering committees with C-suite sponsors, trading managers, risk officers, and IT directors; distill technical trade-offs into concise business language and secure rapid decisions that keep momentum high.
- • Assemble and orchestrate a cross-functional squad of Molecule solution architects, data engineers, DevOps specialists, and customer enablement leads; assign clear RACI charts and remove blockers before they threaten the critical path.
- • Coach customer teams on how to model their unique deal structures, valuation curves, and risk hierarchies inside Molecule; turn “we’ve always done it in spreadsheets” into scalable, auditable system workflows.
- • Design and facilitate interactive workshops that accelerate user adoption—scenario-based training, sandbox simulations, and post-go-live hyper-care—so traders can price, hedge, and report from day one.
- • Monitor burn-rate, scope-creep, and customer satisfaction KPIs in real time; escalate early and propose trade-offs that protect both margin and relationship NPS.
- • Contribute to our evolving PMO playbook: refine templates, automate status reporting, and share lessons learned across the global Customer Success organization.
- • Partner with Product and Engineering to feed implementation friction points back into the roadmap, ensuring that each release makes the next go-live faster and smoother.
- • Champion a culture of disciplined agility—lightweight documentation, ruthless prioritization, and transparent communication—so that every project feels controlled yet never bureaucratic.
- • Travel up to 25 % (post-COVID) to customer trading floors in Houston, Geneva, Singapore, or Calgary for high-stakes go-live weekends and executive steering sessions.
ďż˝ Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of progressive experience in finance, strategy, commodities, CTRM/ETRM, or management consulting.
- • 5+ years of hands-on project-management delivery, ideally within SaaS or enterprise software implementations.
- • 3+ years in a top-tier management-consulting environment or equivalent client-facing advisory role.
- • Demonstrated domain exposure to energy or commodities trading—power, oil, gas, metals, or renewables—and familiarity with trading lifecycles, risk metrics, and regulatory reporting.
- • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in fast-moving, ambiguous environments while maintaining rigorous attention to detail.
️ Benefits
- • Competitive base salary plus performance bonus tied to on-time, on-budget delivery metrics.
- • Hybrid work model—three days in our London Shoreditch office, two days wherever you’re most productive.
- • 25 days PTO, 10 UK bank holidays, and a “recharge week” when the entire company powers down between Christmas and New Year’s.
- • Annual professional-development stipend (£2,500) for certifications, conferences, or advanced PM training.
