ďż˝ Description
- • Own the end-to-end delivery of ION’s Fixed Income trading and workflow platform for tier-1 banks, asset managers, and government treasuries across EMEA. You will be the face of ION during on-site and remote implementation cycles, translating complex business requirements into elegant, scalable solutions that go live on time and under budget.
- • Act as the primary liaison between client stakeholders—from senior traders and portfolio managers to CTOs and operations heads—and ION’s product, development, and support teams. You will run discovery workshops, map current-state processes, and design future-state workflows that unlock measurable efficiency gains and revenue opportunities.
- • Lead functional configuration, user-acceptance testing, and data-migration planning for multi-asset fixed-income desks covering government bonds, corporates, municipals, repos, and derivatives. Your deep market knowledge ensures every curve, benchmark, and settlement convention is modeled correctly from day one.
- • Produce crisp, executive-ready Implementation Analysis (IA) reports that document gaps, recommend best-practice alternatives, and quantify ROI. These artifacts guide both internal roadmaps and client strategic planning, influencing the direction of a product suite used by 40 % of the world’s largest companies.
- • Coordinate with the Project Management Office to build and maintain detailed project plans, risk registers, and milestone dashboards. You will run daily stand-ups, weekly steering-committee updates, and monthly steering-committee reviews, ensuring transparency and accountability across all workstreams.
- • Champion continuous improvement by feeding real-world client insights back to Product Management. Your voice directly shapes upcoming releases—whether it’s a new curve-construction engine, an API for real-time allocations, or a UI enhancement that shaves seconds off every trade.
- • Deliver hands-on training to front-office traders, middle-office risk teams, and back-office operations staff. You will design role-based curricula, create quick-reference guides, and run train-the-trainer sessions that empower clients to become self-sufficient super-users.
- • Provide tier-two support during hyper-care periods, triaging escalated issues, reproducing defects in test environments, and coordinating hot-fix deployments. Your intimate knowledge of each client’s installation makes you the go-to expert for both urgent fixes and long-term optimization.
- • Stay ahead of regulatory change—think CSDR settlement discipline, SFTR reporting, or Basel III capital rules—and ensure ION’s platform evolves in lockstep. You will brief clients on upcoming mandates and configure new compliance features before deadlines hit.
- • Mentor junior analysts, sharing best practices in SQL scripting, Excel modeling, and client communication. As your career progresses, you may step into formal project-management or technical-account-management roles, owning multi-year, multi-million-euro engagements.
- • Travel up to 25 % across Europe to run on-site workshops, cut-over weekends, and go-live celebrations. When you’re not on the road, you’ll collaborate from our state-of-the-art Pisa office, enjoying panoramic views of the Tuscan hills and easy access to the city’s historic center.
