- • Serve as the primary liaison between clients and municipal permitting authorities across Minnesota, ensuring seamless navigation of complex regulatory landscapes to accelerate project approvals.
- • Gain and maintain deep expertise in local building codes, zoning regulations, and permitting procedures specific to Minnesota jurisdictions to provide accurate, actionable guidance to clients.
- • Proactively manage multiple commercial permitting projects simultaneously, tracking milestones, identifying potential delays, and implementing solutions to keep timelines on track for projects including retail rollouts, data centers, and EV charging infrastructure.
- • Advise architects, builders, and retailers on permitting strategy, helping them avoid common pitfalls and optimize submittals to minimize revision cycles and approval wait times.
- • Build and nurture strong, trust-based relationships with city and county permitting staff to foster collaboration, streamline communications, and expedite review timelines.
- • Coordinate internally with Pulley’s product, engineering, and leadership teams to relay client feedback, report systemic permitting bottlenecks, and contribute to platform improvements that reduce manual work and increase accuracy.
- • Document and share best practices for permitting workflows across the company, helping to standardize processes and improve scalability as Pulley expands its geographic reach.
- • Anticipate and resolve permitting roadblocks before they impact project schedules, leveraging historical data and jurisdictional insights to forecast timelines with greater precision.
- • Deliver clear, timely updates to clients on the status of their applications, including required documentation changes, pending reviews, and expected approval dates.
- • Ensure all permitting activities comply with local, state, and industry standards while maintaining meticulous records for internal audit and client transparency.
- • Collaborate with the operations team to refine internal tools and templates used in permitting workflows, contributing to increased efficiency and reduced administrative burden.
- • Represent Pulley at client meetings and municipal coordination sessions, acting as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor throughout the permitting lifecycle.
- • Participate in ongoing training and knowledge-sharing sessions to stay current on evolving regulations, emerging technologies, and new permitting initiatives within Minnesota.
- • Support onboarding of new clients by conducting initial permitting assessments and outlining customized approval strategies aligned with project scope and timeline goals.
- • Maintain a high standard of client service by responding promptly to inquiries, addressing concerns proactively, and ensuring all project documentation is accurate and complete.
- • Contribute to the continuous improvement of Pulley’s permitting intelligence engine by providing real-world insights from field experience that inform AI training and rule updates.
- • Collaborate with internal teams to develop educational materials and client-facing resources that demystify the permitting process and improve client self-service capabilities.
- • Maintain awareness of jurisdiction-specific changes in fees, required forms, submission formats, and review timelines across Minnesota municipalities.
- • Work closely with operations and customer success teams to ensure smooth handoffs between initial permitting assessments and ongoing project execution phases.
- • Act as an internal advocate for client needs, ensuring product and engineering teams prioritize features that solve recurring permitting challenges observed in the field.
