- • Design and optimize prompts for large language models (LLMs) to efficiently extract structured data from blockchain and web3 sources for fraud detection and threat intelligence.
- • Research and define emerging types of cryptocurrency scams, scammer behaviors, and fraudulent patterns by analyzing public and proprietary data across the web.
- • Analyze and monitor data pipelines using SQL to ensure accuracy, completeness, and reliability of inputs for AI-driven threat detection systems.
- • Work with large-scale blockchain databases to query, validate, and enrich datasets used in AI models for identifying illicit financial activity.
- • Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to translate customer and team requirements into actionable data extraction workflows powered by LLMs.
- • Investigate online fraudulent activity by cross-referencing blockchain transaction data with external intelligence sources to uncover hidden connections and anomalies.
- • Develop data-driven solutions to detect and classify scam transactions with high precision, leveraging both rule-based and AI-enhanced methodologies.
- • Continuously improve existing prompt frameworks by testing variations, measuring output quality, and iterating based on performance metrics and feedback.
- • Stay current with evolving blockchain protocols, cryptocurrency trends, and emerging AI techniques to ensure prompt systems remain effective against new threat vectors.
- • Proactively challenge existing methods and propose innovative approaches to enhance data extraction efficiency and reduce false positives in fraud detection.
- • Engage in cross-team collaboration to align prompt engineering outputs with broader AI initiatives and regulatory compliance needs within Chainalysis’s blockchain intelligence platform.
- • Use Python to automate data processing tasks, validate LLM outputs, and support the development of scalable data flows for AI-powered fintech applications.
- • Maintain a deep understanding of Chainalysis’s proprietary blockchain data platform and ensure all prompt-driven analyses align with its architecture and data standards.
- • Contribute to a culture of AI fluency by independently experimenting with tools, documenting findings, and sharing insights to elevate team-wide capabilities.
- • Take ownership of output quality, ensuring all data extracted via prompts meets the high standards required for regulatory reporting and customer-facing intelligence products.
- • Operate in a fast-paced environment where rapid adaptation to new blockchain developments and threat landscapes is critical to mission success.
🎯 Requirements
- • 2+ years’ experience as a data analyst
- • Excellent analytical skills
- • Strong SQL skills with experience in querying large, complex data sets
- • Experience with Python data functions
- • Fluent English (written & verbal)
- • Good interpersonal communication skills
