- • You will work within established guidelines to confirm coverage, assess liability, and negotiate equitable settlements while ensuring compliance with state regulatory requirements, utilizing both virtual inspection tools and in-person field assessments across your assigned territory in Bucks County, PA.
- • Day to day, you will proactively manage a caseload of complex property damage claims requiring deep knowledge of policy terms, legal liability, and coverage contingencies, including those involving structural damage, subrogation potential, and Special Investigation Unit (SIU) referrals.

- • You will determine and negotiate claim settlements within your authority, develop recommendations for amounts exceeding limits, collaborate with management on complex outcomes, and maintain meticulous, current documentation throughout the claims lifecycle.
- • You will leverage advanced estimating platforms like Xactimate and virtual inspection tools to prepare accurate claims estimates, stay current with evolving technology, and support catastrophe (CAT) response operations, including mandatory on-call duties and potential deployment with minimal notice.
- • You will work independently to solve complex problems, serve as a resource for less experienced colleagues, handle claims involving attorney involvement, and navigate jurisdictional challenges related to legislation, construction standards, and regional regulations.
- • You will ensure risks from business activities are identified, measured, monitored, and controlled per USAA’s risk and compliance policies, while adapting to variable workloads, including evening, weekend, or holiday work during surge periods or CAT events.
