📋 Description

• • The Proposal Specialist with Graphic Design expertise at CDW Corporation is responsible for developing visually compelling, compliant, and persuasive proposal responses that support sales efforts by blending strong proposal writing and coordination skills with advanced graphic design capabilities to produce high-quality, customer-facing documents that clearly communicate value, differentiate solutions, and align with brand standards.
• • Day to day, the role involves supporting end-to-end proposal development for RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, and proactive proposals; collaborating with proposal managers, sales teams, SMEs, pricing, and leadership to gather content; ensuring compliance with customer instructions, evaluation criteria, and deadlines; editing, proofreading, and formatting proposal content; managing multiple deadlines in fast-paced environments; incorporating feedback from reviews and post-submission lessons learned; designing and producing proposal graphics such as infographics, diagrams, workflows, timelines, process maps, charts, tables, data visualizations, cover designs, section dividers, and callout elements; applying visual storytelling principles to translate complex technical or business concepts into clear, compelling visuals; ensuring visuals align with corporate branding, accessibility standards, and proposal best practices; optimizing layouts for readability and evaluator experience; leveraging proposal automation and document tools like Word, PowerPoint, InDesign, and proposal software platforms; ensuring consistent branding, typography, color usage, and formatting across deliverables; and staying current on proposal design trends, visual communication best practices, and accessibility guidelines.

• • In this role, the person can learn and achieve mastery in end-to-end proposal lifecycle management, advanced visual storytelling and data visualization techniques, compliance with accessibility standards (Section 508/WCAG), and the use of proposal automation tools. They will develop expertise in aligning technical content with brand and design standards, gain experience in corporate and government proposal environments, and grow their ability to influence sales outcomes through persuasive, visually driven documentation—all while contributing to CDW’s AI-fluent culture by exploring how AI can enhance creativity and decision-making in proposal development.
