  • • Manage and co-develop responses to RFXs (requests for proposals, solicitations, and other bid opportunities) across Valinor’s portfolio of product companies, ensuring content is compelling, compliant, and aligned with government requirements
  • • Create and refine white papers, slide decks, and other business development munitions to support capture efforts and secure new contracts within the U.S. federal government market
  • • Monitor and qualify business opportunities by tracking federal procurement portals such as SAM.GOV and identifying high-potential bids within the defense and government tech sectors
  • • Collaborate with subject matter experts to extract technical information, identify gaps in proposed solutions, and construct coherent, winning narratives that align with solicitation criteria
  • • Design, maintain, and improve templates, content libraries, and knowledge management systems to increase Capture team efficiency and ensure consistent, scalable proposal production
  • • Work closely with the Capture & Proposals Lead to build and optimize infrastructure for pipeline tracking, content reuse, and institutional memory across the Growth team
  • • Analyze how information is stored, accessed, and utilized within the team to drive process improvements that reduce redundancy and accelerate response times
  • • Balance multiple concurrent proposal deadlines while anticipating risks, managing stakeholder timelines, and delivering high-quality submissions ahead of government-mandated cutoffs
  • • Operate with high autonomy to solve unstructured problems, initiate process enhancements, and adapt workflows to evolving capture needs across a dynamic portfolio of products
  • • Ensure all proposal content adheres to U.S. Government contracting standards, including compliance with FAR, DFARS, and other regulatory frameworks
  • • Contribute to the development of internal resources that standardize best practices in proposal writing, response formatting, and compliance validation
  • • Support strategic business development by translating complex technical capabilities into clear, persuasive narratives tailored to federal agency priorities and evaluation criteria
  • • Maintain up-to-date awareness of government acquisition trends, procurement cycles, and emerging opportunities to inform proactive capture planning
  • • Work within a distributed team environment requiring coordination across engineering, product, and leadership stakeholders to align proposal content with technical deliverables

🎯 Requirements

  • • At least 2 years’ experience in U.S. Federal government capture and/or proposals
  • • Strong core writing skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly
  • • Familiarity with U.S. Government contracting, including opportunity portals like SAM.GOV
  • • Strong project management skills, with the ability to balance multiple concurrent efforts, keep teams on task, anticipate risks, and achieve high-quality deliverables ahead of internal/Government deadlines
  • • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to analyze how information is stored, accessed, and used across the team and drive infrastructure and process to optimize knowledge management
  • • High degree of autonomy and drive for problem-solving
