- • The Proposal Writer at Prime Therapeutics is responsible for managing the end-to-end response process for requests for proposals (RFPs) and requests for information (RFIs), ensuring all submissions are accurate, compelling, and aligned with the company’s strategic messaging and sales objectives. This role is critical to winning new business by translating complex pharmacy benefit management offerings into clear, persuasive proposals that reflect Prime’s unique value proposition.
- • Day to day, the Proposal Writer leads strategy meetings, interviews subject matter experts, conducts research, and uses Responsive proposal software to develop high-quality responses. They coordinate cross-functional teams to gather input, manage timelines, review drafts for compliance and differentiation, and ensure proposals are professionally packaged and submitted on time. They also serve as a liaison between sales, legal, formulary, underwriting, and networks teams to improve RFP processes and maintain client-specific resources.

- • In this role, the Proposal Writer will develop expertise in healthcare pricing, formulary strategy, and PBM operations while refining advanced technical writing, project coordination, and stakeholder management skills. They will gain exposure to enterprise-level sales processes and have the opportunity to influence win rates and client satisfaction through proposal excellence, positioning themselves for growth into senior writing, proposal management, or sales enablement roles.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- • 2 years of direct experience responding to proposals (RFPs/RFIs)
- • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills with the ability to produce clear, persuasive content under tight deadlines
- • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- • Experience with Responsive or other proposal management software
- • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
