- • Lead the end-to-end publishing strategy for third-party titles that will be introduced into the YGG ecosystem, acting as the primary bridge between external game studios and our global community of 100,000+ scholars.
- • Own the commercial roadmap for each third-party game, from initial evaluation through post-launch live-ops, ensuring every title meets YGG’s standards for play-and-earn mechanics, tokenomics sustainability, and community engagement.
- • Negotiate and structure win-win publishing agreements—covering revenue share, token allocations, marketing commitments, and technical integration milestones—while protecting YGG’s brand and long-term value.
- • Coordinate cross-functional squads across Business Development, Game Research, Community, Esports, and Product Engineering to deliver synchronized global launches, regional activations, and ongoing content updates.
- • Build and maintain a data-driven pipeline dashboard that tracks KPIs such as DAU growth, retention curves, average revenue per scholar, and token price correlation, enabling rapid pivots and transparent reporting to senior leadership.
- • Serve as the voice of the player inside partner studios, translating community feedback into actionable product backlogs and ensuring that patches, events, and expansions resonate with both Web3 natives and Web2 newcomers.
- • Design and execute go-to-market campaigns that blend traditional UA, influencer partnerships, Discord AMAs, Twitter Spaces, and on-chain quests, hitting aggressive download and wallet-connect targets within the first 90 days of launch.
- • Champion best-practice compliance across multiple jurisdictions, working closely with Legal and Finance to navigate securities law, KYC/AML requirements, and evolving regional regulations for token rewards and NFT distributions.
- • Establish scalable onboarding workflows that allow new guilds, sub-DAOs, and regional micro-communities to plug into third-party titles quickly, including scholarship templates, rental smart-contracts, and localized training materials.
- • Mentor junior publishing coordinators and analysts, fostering a culture of experimentation, rapid iteration, and transparent post-mortems that continuously elevate YGG’s publishing craft.
- • Represent YGG at global conferences, hackathons, and demo days, evangelizing our publishing vision and sourcing the next wave of innovative third-party games that will define the future of Web3 gaming.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of publishing, product management, or partnerships experience in gaming, entertainment, or consumer tech with at least one shipped free-to-play or blockchain title.
- • Proven track record negotiating commercial terms (revenue share, token allocation, marketing budgets) and managing P&L responsibility exceeding $1M annually.
- • Deep fluency in Web3 primitives: NFTs, ERC-20 & ERC-721 standards, staking, liquidity pools, DAO governance, and on-chain analytics tools such as Dune or Nansen.
- • Exceptional stakeholder management skills—comfortable presenting to C-level executives, game studio founders, guild leaders, and community moderators in the same day.
- • Nice-to-have: multilingual capabilities (Tagalog, Spanish, Portuguese, or Korean) and existing relationships with tier-1 game studios or launchpads in APAC, LATAM, or North America.
