- • Master SHI’s value proposition to consistently exceed revenue and profit goals through strategic sales approaches and pricing proposals.
- • Cultivate relationships with existing customers and establish new ones using targeted sales techniques including cold calling, meetings, and networking.
- • Identify and develop opportunities in the sales pipeline to achieve quarterly and annual sales targets, expanding business with existing clients and acquiring new customers.
- • Collaborate with sales management to identify, manage, and prioritize sales opportunities aligned with organizational goals.
- • Build proactive partnerships with internal SHI support teams and external industry partners to drive joint selling initiatives and maximize business outcomes.
- • Understand customer business objectives, IT priorities, and initiatives to deliver tailored solutions from SHI’s comprehensive portfolio of products, services, and capabilities.
- • Position and effectively communicate SHI’s offerings to customers and partners, differentiating SHI’s value against industry competition.
- • Foster cross-departmental relationships and engage extended SHI support teams to uncover new business opportunities and leverage internal resources.
- • Build market awareness of SHI by actively participating in local and regional industry events, organizations, and professional affiliations.
- • Continuously educate oneself to remain current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and evolving market conditions.
- • Demonstrate business acumen by evaluating market trends and competitive landscapes to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
- • Close deals by developing and executing strategic plans, identifying high-value opportunities, and applying advanced negotiation techniques.
- • Engage in consultative sales by proactively initiating conversations with potential customers and contributing innovative ideas to improve the sales process.
- • Utilize strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively, build trust, resolve conflicts, and influence key stakeholders.

- • Operate with a minimum of 50% time outside of an office setting, meeting with existing and potential customers in the field.
- • Travel regularly to customer sites within the assigned territory and to SHI, partner, and customer events.
- • Hold or obtain required sales and/or technical certifications within the first 90 days of employment.
🎯 Requirements
- • Completed Bachelor’s Degree or relevant work experience
- • Minimum 3-5 years of successful sales experience
- • Minimum 50% time spent outside of an office setting meeting with customers
- • Ability to obtain required sales and/or technical certifications within 90 days of hire
- • Proven expertise in client relationship building and new business development
- • Proficiency in account management and project management
