📋 Description

• • Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test suites for web and API layers using Playwright and other modern test automation frameworks.
• • Build and enforce standardized test plan and test case design practices, including boundary analysis and equivalence partitioning, aligned with industry best practices.
• • Own the integration of automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI, or GitLab CI to enable quality gates and continuous delivery.
• • Apply AI-enhanced testing tools and approaches to improve test coverage, increase defect detection rates, and reduce maintenance overhead of test scripts.
• • Review, triage, and diagnose failures in automated test runs, collaborating directly with engineering teams to identify root causes and drive timely fixes.
• • Contribute to architectural decisions around test framework selection, tooling evolution, and documentation standards to ensure scalability and maintainability.
• • Participate fully in Agile/SCRUM ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, backlog grooming, and retrospectives to align testing efforts with iterative product delivery.
• • Trace test coverage back to product requirements to ensure comprehensive validation of features and user workflows across the software lifecycle.
• • Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams in a distributed, remote environment to embed quality practices into every stage of development.
• • Maintain and evolve test automation frameworks to support cross-browser, cross-device, and multi-platform testing needs.
• • Identify opportunities to enhance testing efficiency through automation, scripting, and tooling improvements, leveraging scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Java.
• • Support performance and security testing initiatives by leveraging tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, AppSpider, or OWASP ZAP when applicable.
• • Utilize cloud-based testing platforms such as BrowserStack or Sauce Labs to expand test environment coverage and ensure compatibility across diverse user configurations.
• • Document test automation processes, frameworks, and execution protocols to ensure knowledge sharing and onboarding efficiency across teams.
• • Champion a customer-first mentality by ensuring automated tests validate real-world user scenarios and product quality at every release cycle.
• • Operate with ownership and bias for action, proactively identifying gaps in test coverage or process inefficiencies and driving solutions without waiting for direction.
• • Uphold frugality and impact-driven delivery by optimizing test resources, reducing redundant automation, and maximizing ROI on testing investments.
