📋 Description
- • As a Contract QA Engineer at SalesApe AI Inc., you will own quality across a fast-moving AI product, building and scaling the QA function from the ground up to ensure safe, high-velocity releases.
- • Day to day, you will design and implement scalable QA processes, automate testing across Django and NextJS stacks, apply AI to testing workflows, and collaborate with product engineers to balance speed and safety.
- • SalesApe is a fast-growing AI company backed by over $20M in VC funding, mission-driven to democratize AI for non-tech SMBs by empowering them with AI agents that become trusted team members.
- • In this role, you will shape the foundation of continuous delivery, gain hands-on experience integrating AI into QA strategies, and grow your impact in a high-trust, low-ego startup environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • Experience standing up QA functions or frameworks in early-stage teams
- • Ability to prioritise testing pragmatically, balancing risk vs. velocity
- • Fluency in QA tooling and frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Pytest, Cypress)
- • Comfortable working across a full-stack environment (backend APIs, front-end UIs, async jobs)
- • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tooling (we use GitHub Actions)
- • Clear communicator who collaborates well with engineers and product leads
