📋 Description
- • Precision Medicine Group is seeking a dedicated QA Engineer I to join their team and play a crucial role in upholding software quality across a diverse range of applications, platforms, and business units. This position is vital for ensuring the reliability, functionality, and overall excellence of the company's software solutions, directly impacting client satisfaction and operational efficiency.
- • In this dynamic role, you will be instrumental in the entire software quality assurance lifecycle. Your day-to-day responsibilities will encompass the meticulous design, development, and ongoing maintenance of automated test scripts tailored for both web and data-intensive applications. You will also be tasked with developing and enhancing robust automation frameworks, ensuring they are scalable, reusable, and highly efficient. A significant part of your role will involve executing a variety of tests, including functional, regression, integration, API, and performance testing, which may extend to load and stress testing to identify system limits and vulnerabilities. You will be responsible for creating and meticulously maintaining comprehensive test plans, detailed test cases, executable test scripts, and clear test execution reports, providing essential visibility into the testing progress and outcomes.
- • Furthermore, you will validate new features, enhancements, and bug fixes, ensuring that all changes meet stringent quality standards and contribute to the end-to-end reliability of the software. A key aspect of this role involves performing thorough data validation and backend testing, which includes verifying database integrity and ensuring the accuracy and consistency of data across systems. You will actively collaborate with development teams, architects, product owners, and other cross-functional stakeholders to gain a deep understanding of requirements and translate them into comprehensive and effective test scenarios. Your participation in Agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, will be crucial for seamless integration with the development process.
- • You will also be responsible for identifying, logging, tracking, and managing defects using industry-standard tools like Azure DevOps or Jira, ensuring that issues are documented and addressed promptly. This includes supporting defect triaging, conducting root cause analysis, and validating resolutions in close partnership with the development teams. By analyzing defect trends, test metrics, and quality reports, you will identify high-risk areas and proactively recommend improvements to prevent future occurrences. Ensuring adherence to established quality standards, change management processes, and compliance requirements, especially within regulated environments, will be a core responsibility.
- • Additionally, you will support the integration of automated test execution into CI/CD pipelines, contributing to a more streamlined and efficient development workflow. You will actively contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and methodologies, bringing innovative ideas and best practices to the team. Creating and maintaining essential documentation, such as Wiki pages and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), will ensure knowledge sharing and consistency. Finally, you will troubleshoot quality issues and continuously optimize testing processes and workflows to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.
- • The team at Precision Medicine Group is dedicated to advancing healthcare through innovative solutions. You will be joining a collaborative environment where your contributions to quality assurance are highly valued and directly impact the success of critical projects. This role offers a unique opportunity to work within the precision medicine space, contributing to cutting-edge advancements.
- • In this role, you will have the opportunity to deepen your expertise in test automation, learn about the intricacies of the healthcare and life sciences domain, and contribute to the development of high-impact solutions. You will gain hands-on experience with a variety of leading automation tools and frameworks, enhance your skills in API and performance testing, and become proficient in Agile methodologies and CI/CD integration. This position is ideal for someone looking to grow their career in a challenging and rewarding field, making a tangible difference in healthcare.
