- • As a Reconciliation Analyst at Verto Inc., you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations by managing end-to-end reconciliation processes for multiple banking partners, directly supporting the company’s mission to democratize global finance for businesses in emerging markets.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include running daily reconciliation processes, gathering and analyzing transaction data, identifying and investigating discrepancies, resolving breaks, and collaborating with internal teams and external banking partners to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- • You will join a mission-driven, high-performance team at Verto, a fast-growing fintech backed by Y-Combinator and recognized by Milken-Motsepe Prize, CNBC, Deloitte Fast 50, and Sifted, dedicated to simplifying cross-border payments and fostering global economic inclusion.
- • In this role, you will develop expertise in financial reconciliation, process automation, and cross-functional collaboration, while contributing to strategic projects that enhance operational efficiency and support the company’s scalability in emerging markets.
🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum 2 years of experience in reconciliation, financial analysis, or a related accounting function, preferably within fintech, financial services, or payments industry
- • Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel (ability to perform functions such as Vlookup, Xlookup, etc.)
- • Demonstrated ability to identify, investigate, and resolve reconciliation discrepancies
- • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- • Experience with process improvement and automation is a plus
- • Knowledge of payment processing, FX transactions, and emerging markets is required
