  • • We are seeking a dedicated and analytical Reconciliation Operations & Strategy Associate to play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our global crypto reconciliations across all Coinbase products and entities.
  • • This role is crucial for maintaining the integrity of our financial operations, particularly concerning safeguarding requirements for regulated entities, and directly supports the Reconciliation Manager.
  • • You will act as a subject matter expert, serving as an escalation point for complex reconciliation workflows and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to execute reconciliation strategies.
  • • Your primary responsibility will be to ensure daily operational responsibilities are met with the highest standards of accuracy and efficiency, contributing to Coinbase's reputation for reliability and trust.
  • • Dive deep into managing intricate reconciliation workflows that span our diverse range of global crypto products, ensuring seamless financial operations.
  • • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of safeguarding requirements mandated for regulated entities, ensuring full compliance and operational integrity.

  • • Conduct in-depth analysis of current reconciliation operations to pinpoint inefficiencies, identify areas for enhancement, and propose actionable solutions.
  • • Foster strong collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Product, and Engineering, to refine and optimize reconciliation workflows.
  • • Support the performance of reconciliation teams by ensuring the quality and accuracy of all deliverables, upholding Coinbase's commitment to precision.
  • • Serve as a key liaison between external-facing teams and internal stakeholders, facilitating the resolution of complex issues and the execution of effective solutions.
  • • Oversee the accurate and timely completion of daily reconciliation tasks, diligently addressing any discrepancies that may arise.
  • • Ensure strict adherence to all regulatory and audit standards across all reconciliation processes, maintaining Coinbase's compliance posture.
  • • Contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the operations team, sharing knowledge and best practices.
  • • Engage with new products and features, understanding their impact on reconciliation processes and proactively adapting strategies.
  • • Assist in the development and maintenance of documentation related to reconciliation procedures and policies.
  • • Participate in internal and external audits, providing necessary information and support to ensure a smooth and successful audit process.
