- • As Regional Lead - Cashflow Finance at Allica Bank, you will play a pivotal role in launching and scaling a new cashflow finance product designed to serve established, profitable SMEs lacking tangible collateral – a critical underserved segment in the UK economy. Your work will directly support Allica’s mission to empower the backbone of local communities through innovative, responsible lending.
- • You will lead the end-to-end lifecycle of cashflow funding facilities, from product design and market awareness to origination, structuring, execution, and ongoing portfolio management, ensuring alignment with risk appetite and return targets while building trusted relationships with clients and professional services networks.
- • Joining a fast-growing, purpose-driven fintech challenger bank, you’ll collaborate across functions to shape a best-in-class lending solution, operating with autonomy and impact in a remote UK-based role that values innovation, initiative, and deep SME market expertise.
- • In this role, you will develop specialist expertise in non-tangible asset-based lending, refine your ability to model complex cashflow scenarios, and grow as a trusted advisor and product advocate within a bank that prioritises employee development, flexibility, and inclusive culture.
- • Contribute to the design and delivery of a cashflow funding product that meets the needs of established SMEs without tangible collateral, leveraging market insights to shape a solution aligned with Allica’s risk appetite and growth objectives.
- • Originate, structure, and execute new cashflow funding facilities between £1m-£10m, conducting thorough financial analysis, assessing funding requirements, and modelling sensitivities to cashflow forecasts to ensure proposals are accurate, balanced, and credit-ready.
- • Promote product awareness in regional professional services communities, leveraging your established network of introducers to identify high-quality opportunities compatible with Allica’s lending criteria and return expectations.
- • Negotiate and agree terms with target businesses, oversee facility documentation and pre-commencement requirements, and ensure efficient transaction closure in strict accordance with credit-approved terms and internal control policies.
- • Provide ongoing relationship and risk management for a portfolio of cashflow clients, monitoring performance, addressing evolving needs, and advocating for the product internally to drive cross-functional alignment and adoption.
- • Comply with all mandatory policies, develop and adhere to operational procedures, and maintain a strong internal control environment while championing innovation through a hands-on, entrepreneurial approach to product launch and scaling.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience originating, structuring, and managing cashflow or asset-based lending facilities in the £1m-£10m range for established SMEs, preferably without tangible collateral.
- • In-depth understanding of SME lending markets, particularly non-tangibly secured cashflow lending, including ability to analyse balance sheets, cashflow forecasts, and model sensitivities.
- • Established network of professional services introducers (e.g., accountants, lawyers, advisors) active in the SME financing market who can generate quality deal flow.
- • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, introducers, and internal stakeholders.
- • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple complex transactions through to completion while adhering to risk and compliance standards.
- • A proactive, innovative mindset with a desire to shape a new product through hands-on involvement in design, launch, and execution.
