  • • As the Regional Sales Director for ASEAN, you will be instrumental in driving Delinea's growth and market penetration within this dynamic and strategically important region. This leadership role is pivotal in managing and developing a high-performing team of Enterprise and Strategic Account Managers, responsible for the entire sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure.
  • • Your primary focus will be to guide your team in identifying prospective clients, deeply understanding their unique IT security challenges, and articulating the value proposition of Delinea's award-winning solutions. You will foster a collaborative environment where your team can effectively showcase how our platform enhances and simplifies IT security efforts for organizations across ASEAN.
  • • This role demands a "player-coach" mentality, blending strategic leadership with hands-on involvement. You will mentor and continuously enhance the skills of your sales team, fostering individual development and contributing directly to Delinea's ambitious growth plans. Your leadership will be critical in achieving regional sales objectives and expanding our customer base.
  • • Key responsibilities include accomplishing regional sales and human resource objectives by actively recruiting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and developing your team members. You will set clear job expectations, monitor performance, appraise contributions, manage compensation, and enforce company policies and procedures to ensure a cohesive and effective sales force.
  • • You will be responsible for achieving regional sales operational objectives by contributing critical sales insights and recommendations to strategic plans. This involves developing and executing comprehensive action plans, implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards, proactively resolving issues, identifying emerging market trends, and driving improvements within the regional sales system.
  • • Meeting regional sales financial objectives is paramount. This will involve accurate forecasting of sales requirements, developing and managing the annual budget, strategically scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and implementing timely corrective actions to ensure financial targets are met or exceeded.
  • • You will establish clear sales objectives by creating and implementing a regional sales plan that directly supports national objectives. This includes defining the go-to-market strategy for ASEAN and building and developing a robust regional team capable of executing this strategy.
  • • A significant aspect of your role will involve maintaining and expanding our customer base. This requires counseling Strategic Account Executives, building and nurturing strong rapport with key enterprise clients, and proactively identifying new customer opportunities through both direct engagement and strategic channel partnerships.
  • • You will contribute to product line development by identifying new product opportunities and suggesting service enhancements based on market feedback, customer needs, and competitor analysis. Staying abreast of industry changes and trends is crucial, requiring continuous learning and personal network development within the cybersecurity domain.
  • • You will actively support and close deals alongside your Strategic Account Executives, ensuring that complex sales cycles are navigated successfully. A strong emphasis will be placed on opportunity creation through proactive partner and end-user engagement, alongside driving deal registration initiatives.
  • • Ultimately, your success will be measured by your ability to consistently meet and exceed regional sales targets and objectives, contributing significantly to Delinea's overall market leadership in identity security.
  • • You will be empowered to define and refine the go-to-market strategy for the ASEAN region, ensuring alignment with Delinea's global vision and objectives. This includes establishing and developing a high-performing, motivated, and results-oriented regional sales team.
  • • This role requires a deep understanding of complex sales cycles within enterprise organizations, involving multiple stakeholders at various levels. You will cultivate and control these cycles, ensuring Delinea's solutions are positioned effectively to meet diverse business needs.
  • • You will be expected to consistently achieve and exceed sales targets, driving net new business and expansion sales within your designated territory. Your leadership will be key in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance within your team.
  • • A critical element of this role is driving opportunity creation. This involves actively engaging with channel partners and end-users to identify and develop new business prospects, as well as implementing strategies to increase deal registration and pipeline visibility.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Proven experience as a Regional Sales Director or similar leadership role within enterprise software sales, specifically selling to corporate IT audiences.
  • • Demonstrated success in building, managing, and motivating high-performing enterprise sales teams, with a strong "player-coach" mentality.
  • • Deep understanding and practical application of a proven sales methodology (e.g., Miller Heiman Strategic Selling, MEDDIC, Challenger Sale) and experience working with Channel Partners.
  • • Ability to conduct compelling executive-level presentations and high-level technical presentations, coupled with experience cultivating and controlling complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders in Enterprise organizations.
  • • A strong track record of success in identifying, cultivating, and closing significant enterprise transactions (five to six figures+).
  • • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, with a strong preference for candidates with a background in Information Security, Network Architecture, or specifically Identity Security solutions.
