- • Lead and develop a distributed team of Client Partners and Customer Success Managers across EMEA, fostering a high-performance, customer-centric culture.
- • Own regional revenue goals and business performance across multiple EMEA markets, ensuring consistent execution against growth targets.
- • Formulate and execute the EMEA commercial strategy, including country prioritization, agency partnerships, and channel partner strategies (resellers, outsourced partners).
- • Drive advertiser adoption, retention, and expansion by optimizing engagement across the entire customer lifecycle in collaboration with sales and customer success leaders.
- • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key advertisers, advertising agencies, and strategic technology partners throughout EMEA.
- • Drive forecasting, pipeline management, territory planning, and business reviews to ensure operational excellence and predictable revenue growth.
- • Serve as the primary voice of the EMEA market, translating advertiser insights and customer feedback into product and market strategy inputs for Product, Engineering, and leadership teams.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Operations, and Policy teams to support product launches, market expansion, and strategic customer opportunities.
- • Establish scalable processes, playbooks, and best practices to enable consistent growth across diverse EMEA markets and customer segments.
- • Represent OpenAI’s advertising offering externally through industry events, press engagements, and public speaking opportunities.
- • Shape the strategic direction of OpenAI’s Ads business in EMEA as advertising products launch in the UK in early June and expand across the region.
- • Recruit, coach, and develop top talent to scale the EMEA Ads Solutions team in alignment with regional growth objectives.
- • Maintain operational rigor while navigating fast-moving, ambiguous environments characteristic of a rapidly scaling AI-powered advertising business.
- • Leverage data-driven insights to inform business decisions, prioritize investments, and drive accountability across regional teams and initiatives.
- • Balance strategic thinking with execution excellence to build new businesses, processes, and teams from the ground up in a dynamic, entrepreneurial setting.
- • Champion responsible innovation in advertising by aligning commercial goals with OpenAI’s standards for user trust, platform integrity, and ethical AI use.
- • Work from either the London or Dublin office under a hybrid model requiring three days per week in the office.
🎯 Requirements
- • 15+ years of experience in digital advertising, media, technology, or related commercial leadership roles
- • 10+ years of experience leading high-performing sales, account management, customer success, or revenue teams
- • Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets and scaling businesses across multiple international markets
- • Experience managing distributed teams across EMEA with deep understanding of regional cultural and business nuances
- • Strong strategic thinking skills combined with a bias toward execution and operational excellence
- • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with C-suite executives, agency leaders, and senior decision-makers
