Full Job Description

đź“‹ Description

  • • Own the Georgia market as the Regional Sales Manager, driving Sidecar Health’s explosive growth across the state. You will be the face of the brand, building and leading a high-performing sales team that educates consumers, brokers, and employers on how Sidecar Health’s revolutionary model slashes premiums and puts members in control of their care.
  • • Design and execute a data-driven go-to-market strategy for Georgia, translating national objectives into hyper-local tactics. You will map territory potential, segment prospects, set aggressive yet achievable targets, and iterate weekly based on real-time performance dashboards and market feedback.
  • • Recruit, coach, and retain a diverse team of inside and outside sales representatives, benefit consultants, and broker evangelists. You will run weekly pipeline reviews, deliver hands-on training in consultative selling and product storytelling, and foster a culture of ownership, curiosity, and relentless customer focus.
  • • Cultivate deep relationships with Georgia’s broker and agency community, positioning Sidecar Health as the plan that finally makes health insurance make sense. You will negotiate co-marketing agreements, host lunch-and-learns, and create joint business plans that turn skeptical partners into vocal champions.
  • • Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Compliance, and Member Experience teams to localize messaging, launch pilot programs, and ensure every Georgian who enrolls has a seamless onboarding journey. Your market insights will directly influence product roadmap decisions and regulatory strategy.
  • • Own the full sales cycle—from lead generation and qualification through enrollment and renewal—while maintaining a 4:1 LTV:CAC ratio. You will leverage CRM automation, A/B test scripts and offers, and implement referral loops that turn satisfied members into organic advocates.
  • • Track, analyze, and report on KPIs including policy count, premium volume, churn, NPS, and market share. You will present findings to executive leadership monthly, translating numbers into narratives that spotlight wins, diagnose gaps, and secure additional resources when needed.
  • • Champion compliance excellence by staying ahead of Georgia DOI regulations, carrier appointments, and licensing requirements. You will partner with Legal to ensure every sales interaction, marketing asset, and commission structure meets or exceeds state and federal standards.
  • • Spearhead community outreach initiatives—think chamber of commerce panels, startup meetups, and university career fairs—that elevate Sidecar Health’s employer brand while creating a sustainable talent pipeline for future growth.
  • • Experiment fearlessly: pilot SMS enrollment campaigns, test TikTok lead magnets, or launch micro-events in underserved rural counties. You will have the autonomy—and budget—to run bold experiments, measure impact, and scale what works.
  • • Serve as the voice of the Georgia member inside the company, surfacing real-world stories that inspire product enhancements and marketing campaigns. Your anecdotes about a single mom in Macon saving $6,000 on her child’s surgery will become rallying cries for the entire organization.
  • • Travel up to 40% across Georgia (Atlanta, Augusta, Columbus, Savannah) to meet brokers, attend conferences, and host member education events. Remote flexibility is core, but boots-on-the-ground presence drives trust and accelerates deals.
  • • Hit aggressive yet attainable annual targets: 5,000 net new policies, $25M premium under management, and 90% member satisfaction. You will receive uncapped commission and equity upside tied directly to these milestones.
  • • Ultimately, you will prove that a radically transparent, cash-first health plan can thrive in the Southeast, setting the stage for Sidecar Health’s expansion into neighboring states and cementing your legacy as a market-making leader.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 5+ years of quota-carrying sales leadership in health insurance, employee benefits, or insurtech with documented success scaling regional teams
  • • Active Georgia Life & Health license (or ability to obtain within 30 days of start)
  • • Proficiency with Salesforce or comparable CRM; comfort building dashboards and forecasting revenue
  • • Demonstrated ability to recruit, coach, and retain high-velocity sales talent in a remote-first environment
  • • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field; MBA or relevant master’s preferred

🏖️ Benefits

  • • Competitive base salary plus uncapped commission and stock options that align your upside with company growth
  • • 100% employer-paid medical, dental, and vision coverage for you and 50% for dependents from day one
  • • Flexible PTO policy with a 3-week minimum and company-wide mental health days each quarter
  • • Annual $2,000 professional development stipend and paid attendance at industry conferences like AHIP and BenefitsPRO
  • • Remote-first culture with quarterly in-person team summits in destinations like Napa, Austin, or Miami
