This critical role will be instrumental in developing and implementing cutting-edge packaging solutions for the highly scaled ion traps that form the core of our next-generation quantum computers, specifically our Apollo and Lumos systems. As a mid-career engineer with a robust background in advanced packaging concepts, you will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of ASIC designers, ion trap specialists, optical engineers, and third-party vendors. Your expertise will be crucial in the prototyping, design, and fabrication of sophisticated ion trap assemblies, directly contributing to the advancement of our quantum computing hardware.

- • Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or scientific field.
- • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an engineering or R&D environment.
- • Minimum of 3 years of experience specifically in advanced semiconductor packaging development.
- • Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or green card holder) due to contractual requirements.
