• Own the entire inbound sales motion for the Australia market at Freshworks Inc., turning a predictable flow of marketing-qualified leads into delighted, long-term customers. You will quarterback every stage of the buyer journey—from first “hello” to signed contract—while shaping the playbook that future reps will follow.
• Run a high-velocity, data-driven pipeline. On a typical day you will qualify 15–20 inbound prospects via phone, email, LinkedIn, and chat; triage them in Salesforce; and schedule discovery calls within minutes, not hours. You will maintain <2-hour first-response SLAs and >80% lead-to-opportunity conversion, setting the tone for world-class prospect experience.
• Conduct laser-focused discovery calls that uncover pain, quantify impact, and map stakeholders. You will translate raw interest into crisp business cases, articulating how Freshworks’ unified CX and IT suite slashes ticket volume, boosts CSAT, and delivers 300% ROI within 12 months.
• Deliver tailored, high-impact demos that make software feel simple. Whether screen-sharing from Chennai at 7 a.m. IST for a Sydney fintech or hopping on Zoom for a Melbourne retailer, you will weave in local use-cases, compliance nuances (AU privacy, ACSC guidelines), and competitive differentiators to win technical and economic buyers alike.
• Drive full-cycle deals to close—fast. You will architect multi-year subscription proposals, negotiate commercials, and secure POs ranging from USD 10K to USD 250K ARR. Forecasting accuracy within 10% and 4× pipeline coverage will be your north star.
• Expand revenue post-signature. Within 90 days of close you will identify upsell (additional modules, more agents) and cross-sell (Freshdesk + Freshservice) opportunities, partnering with Customer Success to grow accounts by 30% YoY.
• Champion a culture of feedback. You will debrief weekly with Marketing on lead quality, suggest A/B tests for landing pages, and share voice-of-customer insights that shape product roadmap priorities for the APAC region.
• Mentor junior reps and SDRs. You will run deal clinics, share call recordings, and co-create objection-handling battle cards, elevating team win rates from 22% to 30% within two quarters.
• Stay razor-sharp on market trends. You will track Gartner, Forrester, and local analysts; monitor competitors like Zendesk, ServiceNow, and Atlassian; and translate findings into crisp competitive kill sheets for the field.
• Leverage cutting-edge sales tech. You will be a power user of Salesforce, HubSpot, Gong, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator, building dashboards that surface at-risk deals and trigger automated follow-ups.
