• • **End-to-End PCB Ownership:** Take full ownership of the electrical parts and component development lifecycle for AR wearable devices. Your expertise will be crucial in designing and integrating flexible circuits, rigid PCBs, and intricate small electrical components, ensuring they meet the demanding requirements of wearable technology.
• • **Lead Fabrication and Design Releases:** Spearhead end-to-end PCB fabrication efforts. This includes the meticulous creation of schematics, detailed layouts, form development, and the rigorous execution and vendor approval processes for part fabrication. You will drive design releases for both flex circuits and multi-layer boards (MLBs), guiding them from the initial concept stages all the way through to mass production.
• • **Cross-Functional Collaboration:** Work hand-in-hand with a talented team of electrical engineers and diverse cross-functional partners. Your collaborative spirit will be key in developing sophisticated flexible and rigid circuit board solutions that push the boundaries of what's possible in AR.
• • **Optimize Manufacturing Processes:** Manage Surface Mount Technology (SMT) and Final Assembly, Test, and Pack (FATP) builds from start to finish. Your focus will be on optimizing these processes for schedule adherence, uncompromising quality, and high yield, ensuring efficient and effective production.
• • **Global Supplier Engagement:** Engage directly with contract manufacturers and vendors, primarily located in the APAC region. You will be responsible for ensuring supplier readiness, fostering strong ongoing vendor relationships, and navigating the complexities of international supply chains.
• • **Proactive Risk Management and Communication:** Diligently track project schedules, gather essential feedback from all relevant cross-functional teams, identify potential risks early on, and proactively communicate any issues or concerns throughout the entire development lifecycle.
