  • • Own the Western U.S. territory for a fast-growing clean-tech pioneer: you will be the single-threaded owner of every Investor-Owned Utility (IOU), large Cooperative, and Municipal utility from the Pacific Coast to the Rockies, carrying a multi-million-dollar annual quota.
  • • Design and execute a data-driven territory plan that turns market intelligence into pipeline: map the 100+ largest utilities in your patch, tier them by hosting-capacity pain, DER load growth, and grid-investment budgets, then create laser-focused account strategies that convert insight into signed contracts.
  • • Run the entire enterprise sales cycle—from cold outreach to seven-figure close—leveraging Salesforce, MEDDPICC, and Challenger-style discovery to uncover technical, regulatory, and economic drivers behind grid-digitalization initiatives.
  • • Build trust with VPs of Grid Planning, Directors of DER Interconnection, and Chief Engineers by translating complex power-flow analytics and hosting-capacity algorithms into crisp business value: faster interconnection queues, lower CAPEX/OPEX, and improved customer NPS.
  • • Collaborate daily with Solutions Engineers to craft bespoke ROI models, technical road-maps, and pilot proposals that de-risk adoption and accelerate procurement timelines.
  • • Partner with Marketing to launch ABM campaigns, webinars, and conference activations that position Envelio as the category leader in grid-automation SaaS, generating 3Ă— pipeline coverage each quarter.
  • • Maintain forensic CRM hygiene: forecast bookings within 5 % accuracy, document next steps, and provide executive visibility to the Chief Revenue Officer and German HQ via weekly cadences and QBRs.
  • • Travel up to 50 % to client sites, industry events (DistribuTECH, TechAdvantage, Solar Power International), and the Boston HQ to deepen relationships, negotiate MSAs, and champion customer success stories.
  • • Champion the voice of the customer back to Product and Engineering, feeding real-world utility requirements into the roadmap for grid-planning modules, DERMS integrations, and cybersecurity features.
  • • Thrive in a remote-first culture anchored in Mountain or Central Time, leveraging Slack, Zoom, Miro, and Notion to stay tightly aligned with a globally distributed team while enjoying the autonomy to craft your own schedule.
  • • Contribute to a mission that matters: every MW of DER you help utilities integrate accelerates decarbonization, improves grid resilience, and lowers energy costs for millions of end-users.
