đź“‹ Description
- • As a Regional Solutions Engineer at Flock Safety, you will serve as a trusted technical advisor bridging the gap between complex security technology and real-world customer needs, enabling law enforcement agencies, businesses, schools, and communities to leverage Flock’s AI-driven platform for measurable crime prevention and operational impact.
- • You will partner closely with Account Executives throughout the full sales cycle — from initial discovery to final sign-off — by leading technical consultations, designing tailored demonstrations, crafting Statements of Work (SOWs) and Proof of Concept (POC) plans, and ensuring solutions align with customer workflows, pain points, and value metrics.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include conducting discovery sessions to uncover customer requirements and success metrics, delivering compelling in-person and virtual demos that highlight Flock’s competitive differentiators, designing deployment strategies that integrate with existing VMS, video, and security systems, and guiding stakeholders through technical validation and commitment.
- • You will work within a high-performance, low-ego team at Flock Safety — a rapidly scaling public safety technology leader backed by nearly $700M in venture funding and a $7.5B valuation — where collaboration, ownership, and bold thinking drive meaningful impact across over 5,000 communities and 4,500 law enforcement agencies nationwide.
- • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in consultative sales engineering, solution architecture for physical security and SaaS platforms, and stakeholder influence — gaining the ability to translate complex AI and hardware capabilities into clear business value while building a career at the forefront of technology-enabled public safety innovation.
🎯 Requirements
- • 2-5 years of experience in sales engineering, technology sales, or a related presales role with a proven track record of leading technical discovery sessions, tailoring demonstrations, and aligning solutions to customer objectives.
- • Strong ability to deliver compelling in-person and virtual presentations, articulate technical differentiators, and influence stakeholders at all levels, including law enforcement leadership and commercial decision-makers.
- • Solid understanding of SaaS platforms, integration architectures, and deployment strategies, with preferred experience in real-time video, physical security, VMS systems, or crime mapping tools.
- • Experience partnering with Account Executives to accelerate deal cycles, including drafting SOWs, POC plans, and responding to RFPs/RFIs.
- • Familiarity with public safety, security, or commercial loss prevention industries is a plus; knowledge of crime prevention workflows and investigative processes is beneficial.
- • Ability to obtain and maintain CJIS certification as a condition of employment, including passing an FBI fingerprint-based background check.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Fully paid health benefits (medical, dental, vision) with HSA match and access to Spring Health for comprehensive mental health support including therapy, coaching, and medication management.
- • 12 weeks of 100% paid parental leave for all employees, plus an additional 6-8 weeks of physical recovery time for birthing parents.
- • Fertility and family benefits through Maven, including a $50,000 lifetime maximum for eligible adoption, surrogacy, or fertility expenses.
- • Caregiver support via Cariloop and access to four Employee Resource Groups (ERGs): Women of Flock, Flock Proud, LEOs, and Melanin Motion.
- • Monthly $150 WFH stipend, annual $300 productivity stipend (for Audible, Calm, Masterclass, Duolingo, etc.), and one-time $750 home office stipend.
- • Access to Carta Tax Advisors for 1:1 equity tax planning sessions and guidance on grants and tax scenarios.
