- • Recruit, onboard, coach, and manage a team of enterprise software sales executives, ensuring high performance and alignment with company goals.
- • Lead end-to-end sales activities from initial prospect contact through deal closure in the Southern European region (France, Belgium, Spain, Italy).
- • Build and maintain strategic relationships with key business and technical decision-makers at property and casualty (P&C) insurance carriers.
- • Develop and execute territorial sales plans, pipeline management strategies, and account development initiatives focused on new business acquisition.
- • Drive 70% new business revenue generation and 30% expansion sales to existing customers, with a primary focus on Guidewire Cloud Platform (GWCP) and InsuranceSuite.
- • Manage weekly financial forecasting with a target of maintaining greater than 85% accuracy for opportunities above 40% probability.
- • Design and lead strategic sales campaigns that deliver optimal business value to clients while ensuring healthy margins for Guidewire.
- • Conduct technical and functional product presentations to clients in collaboration with product specialists and professional services teams.
- • Prepare detailed, compliant quotations and proposals that align with client needs and minimize company risk, adhering to internal review procedures.
- • Represent Guidewire at industry trade shows, conferences, and events to drive brand awareness and initiate new sales opportunities.
- • Analyze competitor activities and provide actionable feedback to marketing and product development teams to inform strategy.
- • Maintain deep, up-to-date knowledge of Guidewire’s technology platform, product suite, and consulting services to effectively engage prospects and clients.
- • Present regular, detailed reports to senior management on sales performance, pipeline health, and market trends.
- • Work closely with strategic partners and system integrators to expand market reach and enhance customer delivery.
- • Foster a collaborative, high-performing sales culture aligned with Guidewire’s core values of Integrity, Collegiality, and Rationality.
- • Travel up to 50% of the time to meet clients, attend industry events, and support team activities across the Southern European region.
- • Set and distribute annual sales quotas to direct reports based on global targets, while ensuring individual and team accountability.
- • Demonstrate mastery of the complex enterprise software sales cycle, engaging diverse stakeholders across C-suite, IT, and operations functions within P&C insurers.
- • Translate client business needs and digital transformation goals into compelling value propositions tied to Guidewire’s cloud-based solutions.
- • Exercise high emotional intelligence to navigate stakeholder dynamics, uncover hidden objections, and guide both customers and team members toward mutually beneficial outcomes.
- • Inspire and lead teams to achieve unprecedented revenue and customer satisfaction targets in a rapidly evolving insurance technology landscape.
