We are expanding our virtual care model beyond its foundational obesity management practice to encompass a diverse range of specialties, and we are seeking passionate Registered Dietitian Nutritionists (RDNs) to be at the forefront of this expansion.
• • As a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist at Mochi Health, you will play a pivotal role in guiding individuals toward better health outcomes through personalized, evidence-based nutritional support. This role is ideal for a proactive and empathetic clinician who is deeply committed to metabolic health, behavioral change, and leveraging the power of digital healthcare to make a tangible difference in patients' lives.
• • Your primary responsibility will be conducting one-on-one virtual consultations. These sessions will focus on discussing nutrition, obesity medicine, and developing personalized meal plans tailored to each patient's unique needs and goals. You will be instrumental in helping patients navigate their health journeys, providing them with the knowledge and tools to achieve sustainable lifestyle changes.
• • You will extend your expertise to provide crucial nutritional counseling that supports patients across a growing spectrum of specialty areas. This includes, but is not limited to, dermatology, hormone replacement therapy, mental wellness (depression & anxiety), longevity, and hair loss. A key aspect of your role will be recognizing and educating patients on the critical, interconnected link between nutrition and overall, whole-body health.
• • Building strong, trusting relationships with members is paramount. You will achieve this through exceptional communication skills, fostering rapport, establishing credibility, and ensuring high levels of engagement throughout the patient's care journey.
• • A core component of your practice will involve utilizing motivational interviewing techniques. This approach empowers patients by guiding them toward adopting and maintaining sustainable lifestyle changes, fostering intrinsic motivation and long-term adherence.
• • You will provide expert guidance on lifestyle choices specifically tailored to support metabolic health, enhance physical performance, and achieve longevity goals, integrating cutting-edge nutritional science with individual patient needs.
• • Continuous learning and staying abreast of the latest research are essential. You will be expected to remain current with advancements in obesity medicine, binge eating disorder, and the nutritional dimensions of emerging specialty areas, such as the gut-skin axis, hormonal balance, and the intricate relationship between mood and diet.
• • Collaboration is key to our success. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team of innovative healthcare providers to ensure a holistic and integrated approach to patient care, contributing to comprehensive treatment plans.
