  • • Notabene Global Inc. is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Regulatory and Compliance Director to join its growing team, operating remotely across the US, UK, and EU. This pivotal role is designed to significantly enhance Notabene's enterprise regulatory expertise and bolster its leadership in both Travel Rule compliance and the burgeoning field of stablecoin payments. As a key member of the Regulatory & Compliance team, you will be instrumental in ensuring Notabene not only keeps pace with global regulatory shifts but actively shapes responsible and interoperable standards for digital asset and stablecoin-based payment infrastructures.
  • • In this outward-facing position, you will report directly to the VP, Global Regulatory & Compliance Strategy. Your core responsibilities will encompass driving in-depth jurisdictional regulatory research, fostering structured policy engagement, and providing critical support for regulatory strategies across both Travel Rule and stablecoin payment frameworks. You will serve as the primary enterprise-facing regulatory subject matter expert, ensuring that evolving regulatory standards are seamlessly aligned with product development, engineering initiatives, and go-to-market priorities. A significant aspect of this role involves strengthening Notabene's standing as a leading compliance voice within the digital asset and stablecoin infrastructure landscape, operating at the crucial intersection of regulatory influence, product alignment, and enterprise trust.
  • • **Regulatory Engagement & Policy Influence:** This area of focus is critical for shaping the regulatory environment in which Notabene operates. You will be responsible for cultivating and maintaining robust relationships with global regulators, supervisory authorities, and key industry associations. Your efforts will involve educating these stakeholders on the practical realities and implementation nuances of Travel Rule infrastructure and stablecoin payments. A key deliverable will be the drafting of comprehensive position papers and insightful consultation responses addressing a wide spectrum of digital asset regulatory topics. Furthermore, you will actively represent Notabene in influential industry working groups, high-level regulatory meetings, prominent panels, industry conferences, and vital policy forums. Developing proactive strategies to shape Notabene’s policy stance on critical areas such as Travel Rule, Anti-Money Laundering/Counter-Terrorist Financing (AML/CTF), stablecoins, and broader payment regulations will be a core function. You will also be tasked with diligently monitoring global regulatory developments pertinent to Travel Rule, stablecoins, and cross-border payments, translating these complex changes into clear, actionable internal guidance and strategic directives.
  • • **Thought Leadership:** This role offers a significant opportunity to further solidify Notabene's reputation as a trusted and authoritative voice in digital assets and stablecoin payments. You will be responsible for producing high-caliber content, including insightful blogs, detailed regulatory briefs, and clear jurisdictional explainers, working in close collaboration with the marketing and product teams. Identifying and supporting strategic speaking engagements and writing opportunities for Notabene’s executive leadership will be another key contribution. Conducting thorough legislative and regulatory research, directly aligned with Notabene’s strategic objectives across digital assets, AML/CTF, Travel Rule, and stablecoin payments, is essential. You will contribute meaningfully to public discourse surrounding the operationalization of the Travel Rule and the development of compliant stablecoin payment solutions. Regularly briefing internal executive audiences on the potential impact of new or proposed policies and rules on Notabene’s products and operational practices will be a regular duty. Additionally, you will be responsible for updating and expanding Notabene’s existing Travel Rule Certification Program, ensuring its continuous alignment with the latest evolving regulatory standards.
  • • **GTM Enterprise Sales Subject Matter Support:** This function is vital for translating regulatory credibility into tangible enterprise trust and driving adoption. You will act as the primary regulatory subject matter expert for enterprise accounts, providing crucial guidance during complex pre- and post-sales engagements. This includes supporting regulatory-aligned market expansion initiatives, often leading go-to-market efforts in priority jurisdictions in close collaboration with key market stakeholders. Developing essential regulatory enablement materials for the go-to-market teams will also be a key responsibility, ensuring they are well-equipped to address client inquiries and navigate regulatory landscapes effectively.
