- • As a Relationship Manager on Handshake's Education Success team, you will be instrumental in nurturing and expanding our vital partnerships with educational institutions. This pivotal role centers on ensuring our partners not only succeed with the Handshake platform but also remain deeply engaged and committed to long-term collaboration. You will be the primary point of contact for a dedicated portfolio of education partners, acting as a strategic advisor, a proactive problem-solver, and a passionate advocate for their needs within Handshake.
- • Your core responsibility will be to own a book of education partners, meticulously managing their journey from onboarding through to renewal and identifying opportunities for expansion. This involves cultivating robust relationships, driving deep product adoption, and proactively monitoring account health to minimize churn and maximize lifetime value. You will be expected to develop and implement scalable engagement strategies, including tailored training programs and regular touchpoints, designed to enhance partner success and foster a thriving ecosystem.
- • A key aspect of this role is leveraging a combination of customer feedback, platform usage data, and critical health signals to anticipate potential risks and challenges. You will then develop and execute proactive action plans to mitigate these risks, ensuring positive outcomes and sustained partner satisfaction. This requires a keen analytical ability to interpret data and a strategic mindset to devise effective solutions.
- • Collaboration is paramount. You will work hand-in-hand with internal teams, including Support, Sales, Product, and Marketing, to ensure a seamless and exceptional experience for our partners. This cross-functional partnership is essential for efficiently resolving partner needs, gathering valuable insights, and collectively strengthening the overall customer experience. You will be the bridge between our partners' evolving needs and Handshake's capabilities, ensuring our platform continues to meet and exceed their expectations.
- • The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the higher education landscape and the unique challenges and opportunities faced by career services and educational institutions in today's dynamic market. You will be adept at navigating complex organizational structures within partner institutions, building rapport with key stakeholders at various levels, and communicating the value proposition of Handshake effectively.
- • Furthermore, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of our customer success methodologies. This includes identifying best practices, sharing insights across the team, and potentially contributing to the creation of customer-facing enablement content, such as training materials, webinars, or scaled program guides. Your proactive approach and commitment to partner success will directly contribute to Handshake's mission of shaping the future of careers in the AI economy.
