Reliability Engineer

📋 Description

• • As a Site Reliability Engineer at ShiftKey, you will ensure the stability, security, and high availability of the company’s healthcare staffing marketplace platform, directly supporting its mission to mitigate healthcare staffing shortages by enabling reliable connections between facilities and licensed professionals.
• • You will split your time 50/50 between maintaining system reliability (reducing tech debt, improving deployments, strengthening observability) and active development (building automation, tooling, and contributing to infrastructure migration projects), operating in a 'you build it, you run it' culture without burnout due to a follow-the-sun model with US-based teams.
• • You will join a mission-driven team at ShiftKey, a platform disrupting healthcare staffing by putting power back into the hands of healthcare workers, with a proven track record of only 6 minutes of downtime in 2025 and an ongoing migration to a new AWS region to improve cost and availability.
• • You will develop expertise in modern SRE practices, infrastructure-as-code, observability, and AI-assisted engineering, while gaining hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, and cloud-native tools in a high-growth environment that values sustainable engineering and work-life balance.
