📋 Description

• • The Reliability Operations Engineer supports the operational reliability of robotic and cloud systems by handling Tier 2 escalations, improving runbooks, and performing technical investigations during daytime hours in Mexico City, contributing to incident response and system health for Serve Robotics’ sidewalk delivery robot fleet.
• • Day-to-day responsibilities include leading incident investigations, responding to Tier 1 escalations using runbooks and diagnostics, updating operational documentation, running automations, interpreting metrics via Grafana/Prometheus and GCP Monitoring, providing clear incident updates, participating in root cause discussions, and engaging in a shared weekend on-call rotation to ensure production system coverage.
• • Serve Robotics is a team of tech industry veterans in software, hardware, and design building sidewalk robots to revolutionize urban deliveries, operating in cities like Los Angeles, Miami, Dallas, Atlanta, and Chicago, with a mission to reduce street congestion and support local businesses through collaborative, respectful problem-solving.
• • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in incident response, observability tools, cloud platforms (especially GCP), and operational workflows while contributing to the evolution of the Reliability Operations function, gaining hands-on experience with robot fleets, IoT systems, and automation scripting in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
