- • Serve as the Remote Pilot in Command (RPIC) for unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) in support of advanced aerial logistics and UAS operations across the United States.
- • Operate drones in compliance with FAA Part 107 regulations, ensuring all flights are conducted safely, legally, and within authorized airspace.
- • Plan and execute pre-flight mission profiles including route mapping, weather assessment, risk analysis, and airspace coordination.
- • Conduct pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight inspections of UAS equipment to ensure operational readiness and regulatory compliance.
- • Maintain accurate flight logs, mission reports, and operational documentation as required by company protocols and FAA standards.
- • Collaborate with ground teams, mission planners, and technical support personnel to execute complex aerial logistics missions.
- • Respond to real-time flight anomalies or environmental changes by making immediate, safety-first operational decisions.
- • Participate in ongoing training and proficiency evaluations to maintain certification and adapt to evolving UAS technologies and mission requirements.
- • Adhere to all company safety protocols, security procedures, and data handling policies during mission execution.
- • Coordinate with air traffic control and local authorities as needed to secure flight authorizations and ensure public safety.
- • Utilize drone platforms and payloads for data collection, aerial imaging, and logistics delivery as directed by operational needs.
- • Maintain situational awareness of national and local UAS flight restrictions, NOTAMs, and temporary flight restrictions (TFRs).
- • Support the development and refinement of operational procedures through feedback from field missions and team debriefs.
- • Represent TSMG professionally in all interactions with clients, regulators, and partners during mission deployment.
- • Travel as required to operational sites across the United States to support mission execution and equipment deployment.
- • Maintain current FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate and ensure all certifications remain valid and up to date.
- • Operate a variety of commercial-grade UAS platforms, including fixed-wing and multi-rotor systems, as assigned by mission requirements.
- • Ensure all equipment is properly stored, transported, and maintained according to manufacturer guidelines and company standards.
- • Report equipment malfunctions, safety incidents, or regulatory concerns immediately through established internal channels.
- • Participate in mission-specific briefings and after-action reviews to improve operational efficiency and safety outcomes.
