📋 Description

• Serve as the Remote Pilot in Command (RPIC) for unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) in support of advanced aerial logistics and UAS operations across the United States.
• Operate drones in compliance with FAA Part 107 regulations, ensuring all flights are conducted legally, safely, and within authorized airspace.
• Plan and execute mission-specific flight operations, including pre-flight inspections, route planning, and post-flight data reporting.
• Maintain accurate flight logs, mission records, and operational documentation for all UAS activities.
• Collaborate with ground teams and mission coordinators to ensure seamless integration of drone operations into broader logistics and data collection initiatives.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on UAS equipment and report mechanical or technical issues promptly to support team.
• Adapt flight plans in real-time to respond to changing weather conditions, air traffic, or mission requirements.
• Utilize drone payloads and sensors (e.g., cameras, LiDAR, thermal imaging) to collect high-quality aerial data as directed by operational protocols.
• Participate in training sessions and operational briefings to stay current on evolving UAS technologies, regulatory updates, and safety procedures.
• Ensure all operations adhere to TSMG’s safety standards and industry best practices for commercial drone use.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, regulators, and internal teams, regarding flight status, data outcomes, and operational constraints.
• Maintain situational awareness during all flight operations to prevent collisions, airspace violations, or public safety incidents.
• Be available for on-demand deployment to support time-sensitive aerial missions across multiple U.S. locations as needed.
• Travel to designated operational sites as required, with missions potentially spanning urban, rural, and remote environments.
• Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining strict accountability for mission success and regulatory compliance.
• Support the growth of TSMG’s talent network by contributing to operational feedback, process improvements, and pilot performance evaluations.

🎯 Requirements

• Valid FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate
• Minimum of 2 years of professional UAS piloting experience
• Demonstrated ability to operate multiple types of commercial drones and payloads
• Strong understanding of FAA airspace regulations and NVG/line-of-sight flight requirements
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to mission locations across the U.S.
• Clean FAA flight record with no violations or enforcement actions
